The article Jared Lee Loughner has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Feezo (Talk) 21:18, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Just a note, there are five lines on this person and so far there is nothing notable about him other than he shot a lot of people. Wikipedia isn't built on "it will be notable so we should keep it" so there is no reason to have an article based on speculation. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 21:49, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

You are also in danger of being blocked for continually reverting (see Wikipedia:Edit warring). By all means continue to discuss this on the article's talk page, but if you carry n as you are going you will be blocked.--Scott Mac 23:10, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
I like reading this now that the page in question seems to be pretty permanent and was recently featured as "Did you Know" on the front page. Scott MacDonald did take time out to threaten me, and he's probably that wise every day. The lesson? Do what you think is right, be nice to noobies and don't be Scott MacDonald.
DYK for Jared Lee Loughner
On 27 January 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Jared Lee Loughner, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Jared Lee Loughner was detained at the Federal Correctional Institution at Phoenix after the 2011 Tucson shooting? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
