The Houses of Love is a romance novel written by young author, Christopher T. Henderson, which was published on Lulu.com. This book is a spin-off of J.K. Rolwoing's sucessful book series, Harry Potter, and features many of the book's characters who are now all grown up.

Plot

The book centers around a sweet and nature-loving young girl named Jane Harrison who's parents tell her she is a witch on the day of her thirteenth birthday. She then gets shipped off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where many of the old students are now professors including the great and famous Harry Potter who is the now the headmaster. While on the Hogwarts Express Jane meets a handsome boy named Steven Grove, who's never had one friend and always keeps to himself, but then Jane comes into his life and starts to come out of his shell. The two soon start to develop romantic feelings for each other and not long after they confess into each other, unfortunately Jane is sorted into Gryffindor and Steven is sorted into Slytherin, and they both know how the Gryffindors and Slytherins hate each other, so to avoid harsh judgment from their classmates they keep their romance a secret, a nod to William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and have secret dates in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, but they soon discover keeping a secret is more difficult than it seems. In the picture of Namibia, SW Africa, the rocks have been jointedly weathered and oxidized. They also appear to be assembled in dome structures. The reason this is most likely so is because the blocks are in block shapes, and they seem to be in blocks naturally. Also, the rocks are red in color, which implies that they have iron in them and that it probably oxidized with the moisture in the air. These weathering rates are as follows: oxidation takes around 10 years, but jointing takes over a thousand years to take place.

Jointing is a geological process in which rocks break down into block shaped pieces. This can be for many different reasons. General physical weathering and chemical weathering can occur to make the rocks break like this. If and how it breaks into blocks has to do with it's mineral composition. The rate of weathering takes over 1000 years to occur. There are basalt columns in Virginia that are jointly weathered.

Núria Feliu i Mestres (Barcelona, 1941) is a Catalan singer and actress, and a well-known ambassador for the Catalan culture.

Biography:

She was born on September 21st , 1941 in the Barcelonese quarter of Sants. Despite being known as a “universal Barcelonan”, she proudly considers being born in Sants an honour. She began her career in the world of Arts as an actress. She made her début as a singer in 1965, and she has always stood out for her recordings of Catalan popular songs, boleros and duets. She has also popularized North American standards of jazz and country music with the remarkable aid of the pianist Tete Montoliu, thus taking the Catalan language to these music styles for the first time ever. She has also recorded well-known film soundtracks in Catalan. One of her most important lyricists was Josep Maria Andreu i Forns, and she has also been accompanied by the Catalan pianist Lucky Guri. In 1976 she was awarded the Premi de Cultura Popular (Popular Culture Prize) by the Spanish Ministry of Culture for her record Cançons d´Apel.les Mestres (Apel.les Mestres´Songs). In 1979 she was also granted the Medalla del Cercle Català, and the Creu de Sant Jordi in 1985; in 1990 she received the Premi Sant Jordi de cinematografia (Sant Jordi Prize of cinematography) from RNE (Spanish National Radio) and the SGAE Prize for her career.
