The company’s platform offers site development and hosting, order management, fraud management, export controls, tax management, physical and digital product fulfillment, multi-lingual customer service, reporting and strategic marketing services. Clients include ACD Systems, Autodesk, Capcom, Data Robotics, Electronic Arts, En Masse, Kaspersky, Kodak, Logitech, Microsoft, Netgear, Nuance, Pentax, Realtime Worlds, SanDisk, Smith Micro, THQ, Trend Micro, Western Digital and Wizards of the Coast.[2]

On 18 May 2005 Digital River acquired SWREG, another online payment processing company.[3]
Data Breach
A data breach resulted in a list of nearly 200,000 customers being breached.[4] A lawsuit followed by Digital River.[5]
