Question about 'facts'

"During the 2006–2007 season Simpson was the recipient of the "Most Handsome Man in the NHL" award." I don't remember anything about this.. can we get some sources?? Thanks

There are no sources in Wikipedia about this event. Can anyone verify this 'fact'?
