yea im an idiot. after further investigation it appears it is spelled correctly, although i do know for sure (I lived in the western part of El Salvador for 2 years) that it is pronouced and spelled by Salvadorans the way i spelled it :P Also, i apologize for being soo rude !!—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.89.193.42 (talk) 05:30, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

French legend of anatomical sketch

Hi Persian Poet Gal. I'm writing to you as the author of the french version of this image which depicts the peripheral nerves and contains text in french, translated from english. Would you be kind enough to rectify the following items, as I would like to use it to illustrate an article in fr:WP.

- "Nerfs de membrure intermédiaire" --> nerfs intercostaux
- "Nerf subcostal" --> nerf sous-costal
- "Nerf périnéal commun" --> nerf péronier commun (ou sciatique poplité externe)
- "Nerf périnéal profond" --> nerf péronier profond
- "Nerf périnéal superficiel" --> nerf péronier superficiel

Thanx for paying attention. Cheers : Archibald Tuttle (talk) 09:55, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I am the author of the original English version of the nervous system diagram. The person who was kind enough to translate the diagram into French was User:Medium69 from the French Wikipedia. Perhaps if you get into contact with them, they can help you with the correction :)!¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 17:41, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks again : I notified him right now. I Just hope this user will be able to read it soon : his last edit in fr:WP was done more than one month ago ! Archibald Tuttle (talk) 21:09, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A request

Kindly revoke my rollbacker and reviewer rights on the English-language Wikipedia. Thanks.-The EnforcerOffice of the secret service 00:31, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Peripheral Nervous System pic

Hi! I was wondering if I could please get a high-resolution copy of your CNS/PNS/male body custom picture but without the diagram lines and labels (and maybe without the shadowing effect too). It would be for my own personal use, not commercial or even academic. If you're okay with that, let me know how I can go about contacting you in a secure fashion in which I can give you my email address. I will check you page occasionally for a response. Thank you, and great work by the way!

A question about :Nervous_system_diagram_(dumb).png

Dear Persian Poet Gal,

I would like to use the item in an educational slide show in an education site. The site is not open to the public. I do not understand the license of the item. Is it release to the public domain or is it licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.0 France? I also would like to know what credit line should I write - is it your name or William Crochot name or maybe both of you? I would very much appreciate your clarifications. Thank you in advance for your kind help. Best reagrds, Daur11 (talk) 12:47, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

CAIS

I was about to enter data from an article by CAIS (Cirlce of Ancient Iranian Studies) as I was encountered with a message that stated that the site has been listed on the "block list." The site is found online at http://www.cais-soas(dot)com. Unfortuantely I can not type the whole URL as it will tigger a blockage as well. This site as per my survery is entirely educational, granted its quality is not optimal. I found some of the articles on it to be extensive, with good sourcing and frankly the reasons listed for its original block are at best tenative. How do I go on about requesting to unblock this website? I also like to konw how you feel about the chances of it being unblocked. Again, I believe it would offer a great source for the Wikipedia specially on the topic of Persian history, literature, and architecture. I am looking forward to your input. Basically, where do I start? Thanks! Dr. Persi (talk) 02:27, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Suspension of admin privileges due to inactivity

Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative privileges of users who have been inactive for one year, meaning administrators who have made neither any edits nor any logged actions in over one year. As a result of this discussion, your administrative privileges have been removed pending your return. If you wish to have these privileges reinstated, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. Note from Persian Poet Gal

I spoke to Persian Poet Gal recently, and she requested I leave a note for her here to say that she is okay, and that the reason for her inactivity is because she is extremely busy in real-life, and a return to Wikipedia does not seem likely, at least for now. She also gave me permission to remove her admin icons, as I thought it was better a friend did that for her rather than a bot. Acalamari 21:20, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
