"Eight Days a Week" is a song written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, which was recorded by The Beatles and released on their December 1964 album Beatles for Sale.
It was also released as a single in the US on February 15, 1965 becoming a #1 hit. The single release in the USA was the result of DJs playing the song from imported copies of the Beatles For Sale album as an exclusive as it was deleted from the album's American counterpart Beatles '65.
Eight Day's A Week is also a Cincinnati based Beatles Tribute Band. John Lennon played by Tom Hawkinson, Paul McCartney played by Dan Maurice, George Harrison played by Craig Rouse, and Ringo Starr played by Brandon Young. They perform at several functions around the Greater Cincinnati area throughout the year. At the turn of the 2006 year, the boys performed in the world renowned Las Vegas hotel. They are preparing for another appearance at the annual Abbey Road On The River in Louisville in the Spring.
