1a | "Slumber Party Panic" | Larry Leichliter | Adam Muto Elizabeth Ito | April 5, 2010 | 692-009 | 2.50[3] |
Princess Bubblegum and Finn's experiment with decorpsinator serum fails, as a dead Candy Person turns into a zombie hunger for sugar, in which the Candy People are made out of, and spreads the serum across the cemetery while exploding itself. Both runs into the castle and gathers all people into the Candy Foyer. There, Princess Bubblegum announces a slumber party, knowing that the Candy People explode (or, "flip-out") themselves when they get scared. The Princess and Finn make "a royal promise" that not to tell anyone about the zombies. At the party, Finn plays with everyone, and tries to hide anything about zombies. As a part of the effort, Finn recommends Jake and Lady Rainicorn to play "seven minutes in heaven." Eventually, Finn urges everyone to grab a stick, cover their eyes, and "smash the piñatas." (which are, in fact, the zombies) After, Finn accidentally tells Jake, who just finished his "seven minutes," that he killed zombies, breaking the "royal promise." The guardians of the royal promise try to kill Finn and the Princess as a penalty for breaking it, but they managed to save themselves. The Princess finds the solution that eventually revives all the dead people.

Based on an idea by Adventure Time crew member, Natasha Allegri, to have an episode with all gender-switched characters. In the televised episode, Ice Queen (counterpart of Ice King) intrudes into the palace of the Candy Kingdom and tries to kidnap Prince Gumball (Princess Bubblegum), who was preparing a ball with the help of Fionna the human girl (Finn the human boy) and Cake the female cat (Jake the male dog). After Fionna rescues what later turns out to be the Ice Queen disguised as Prince Gumball, they go on a date and ride Lord Monochromicorn (Lady Rainicorn). Ice Queen gives Fionna a crystal sword as a gift, but it is actually part of a booby trap, and during the ball, she tries to lure her into Prince Gumball's private room as part of a plan to kill her. However, the plan fails and Fionna easily rescues the real Prince. Later during the finale, the entire story turns out to be a "fan fiction" written by Ice King that Finn and Jake, kidnapped and trapped in a block of ice, were forced to listen to and review. Guest voices: Madeleine Martin as Fionna, Roz Ryan as Cake, Grey DeLisle as The Ice Queen, and Neil Patrick Harris as Prince Gumball. NOTE: There are some innuendos that can be plainly seen in this episode, such as the bunny ears of the hat of Fiona (relating to Playboy), and Fiona being locked in the room with rose petals on the bed (rape reference).
