Mistakes under awards..

Consensus is to add only the highest award the wrestler has won. So, erase all the number awards except the highest. There's red links for the five star matches with Flair, that should be fixed.

Has Ricky Steamboat really retired?

I wonder. Is Ricky Steamboat really retired? If it's so the article about him should be edited as such.

(Kyrios320 16 May 2009 22:37 (UTC)) Steamboat is still wrestling at house shows, at least as recently as in the Australian tour with Sheamus O'Shaunnesy but I'd argue that he essentially retired in mid-1995, with one off matches not counting as coming out of retirement. Ethnicity

Any reliable sources out there for Rick Steamboat's ethnicity? I'm wondering if he's of mixed european and east asian descent -- his appearance certainly suggests some Asian blood in him, but his legal surname of Blood sounds to be of British descent (and certainly not Japanese). Is the "Japanese Americans" tag correct? I certainly recall Stemboat himself (while in Character) mention that he's Asian, but I don't recall him ever specifying that he's Japanese, Chinese or something else. From what I recall, the "martial arts" vignettes of his early WWF career seemed to suggest that he's more likely to be Chinese than Janpanese, but then again, this might have just been a play of the similarities between Steamboat and Bruce Lee. Any sources to clear all this up? 16:32, 18 January 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.0.100.132 (talk)

EDIT -- a quick check of his official website says that he was born to an English father and a Japanese mother -- I'll try to fit this into the article. 174.0.100.132 (talk) 16:34, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Under Birth of a Dragon it says: " His father was Hawaiian, and Steamboat's mother is Japanese American, hence his Asian features which were crucial for his "Dragon" gimmick.", so either this is wrong, or the ref added above (#72).86.178.29.11 (talk) 01:13, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Move to Sr.

Moving this article to Ricky Steamboat, Sr. doesn't make sense. It's like moving Ted DiBiase to Ted DiBiase, Sr. His ring name doesn't have "Sr." in it and his son's ring name has "Jr." to disambiguate. And Ricky Steamboat redirected here anyway. I moved it back. --Jtalledo (talk) 18:52, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
