re: Dengeki G's Magazine December 2005–March 2006 issues

Here's a photo overview of the To Heart 2 XRATED pages from those four G's Magazines. If there's anything in particular you want in more detail I can scan it in (if I can find the leads for my scanner...) There were also pages on other To Heart titles in the same magazines, but I concentrated on the XRATED ones. Shiroi Hane (talk) 14:08, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help! I'll be sure to add what I can find. -- クラウド668 19:47, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
ISBNs are (in chronological order) 4910163651253, 4910163650164, 4910163650263, and 4910163650362. Shiroi Hane (talk) 22:52, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Megami magazine

Sorry to hear about the contest. Is that the only issue you have though?Jinnai 03:45, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, yeah, I only ordered that one for that specific reason. I would have received it in time had it not been the holidays. -- クラウド668 04:00, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Usually I'd reply on my own talk page, but I'm doing it here since I think it'll be faster. We can continue the conversation here if you like. I'm not surprised by Farix's revert, as I've seen him do it many times before, though in some cases I do disagree with his actions. I think he tried it once on Clannad, but maybe I just removed harem to keep drama and romance, though Kanon has all three and that article doesn't get edited at all anymore. I do agree that infobox genres shouldn't be repetitive, but saying drama and romantic comedy are repetitive of harem may be taking it a bit too far. There really is no stiff consensus by the project anyway, so I don't really see a problem listing drama and romance with harem. It's recommended at {{Infobox animanga}} to "List more specific genres over general genres", but it's questionable whether harem would be considered "more specific" of either or both drama or romance/romantic comedy. If it turns into a dispute, take it up with Farix and I'll comment if needed. We could take it up with the project too if necessary, though Farix does a lot for the project, and most of what he does isn't questioned (well, mainly because it's non-controversial).

As for Multi, I've never seen any of the To Heart anime or played the games, so I'm only tangentially interested in them. However, if you think there's enough available material to get the article up to GA, I'd say go for it. We need more visual novel character GAs, since Ayu's the only one right now to my knowledge. I see that Yui Horie also voiced Multi, so that's quite a funny coincidence.-- 09:45, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think I will open up a discussion at WT:ANIME, but I decided to ask him first. My main problem with listing harem as a genre but not romance in visual novels is that doing so neglects the story's individual routes, which rarely focuses on more than one character most of the time. Now, for Multi, I have to say I didn't really pay attention to To Heart until we decided to cleanup the articles back in 2008 (with you doing most of the work xD), after which I decided to look into the series because of how Leaf was often compared with Key. There are also many more coincidences between Ayu and her aside Horie, which is why I think Multi also has a chance for GA. Multi appeared in dōjin games (although I'm not sure if I'll put that in there), another Leaf anime as a cameo character, has her own game, and from what I read on old 2ch threads, appeared in episode eight of Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi Nevermind, they were in a conversation about the characters that specific character in the episode was based on. She is also the main focus of the second anime with main heroine Akari, with the series mainly based on her route, and I read on multiple occasions that Multi's route in To Heart is the main inspiration of One, although I can't find any sources about that. I think I'll start working on either her article or To Heart's once I get to finish To Heart 2's.-- クラウド668 17:11, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I started a new discussion at WT:ANIME for the matter.-- クラウド668 23:16, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
