Requests for registration
Please read the guide on the main page before requesting permission. In applying for AWB access, you indicate that you will abide by its terms.
Also, this page is for requesting AWB Access for this wiki (English Wikipedia) only. Other projects have their own check pages and you should ask administrators there to add you.
Please add your name to the bottom of the list using *
. Enter your user name exactly as it is, do not add underscores instead of spaces or change the case of the first letter.
{{AWBUser|your username}}

If the list contains undecided entries that are over 48 hours old, please add
to the top of this page.
{{Admin backlog}}
Note that users with under 500 mainspace non-automated edits are rarely approved. You only need to give a reason for wanting AWB access if you have fewer than 500 mainspace non-automated edits.
If approved, your name will be added to the CheckPage.

- mrjohncummings (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) 21:17, 25 January 2012 (UTC) Need it for using CatScan to compile large galleries for my Monmouthpedia project
- Adding original request back that was mistakenly archived by KingpinBot (as far as I can see without approval or disapproval) here. I also left a message about this on the bot's talk page. Jane (talk) 11:48, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
- Mrjohncummings, you have less than 250 mainspace edits. Why do you want AWB access? Wifione Message 17:45, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- John is leading MonmouthpediA. As such, he travelled from Wales to Amsterdam for GLAMcamp 2011- clearly demonstrating commitment to the project. As he explains above, he will use AWB to analyse related categories. I support his application. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 23:32, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

- Only 245 edits to main space, we expect about double that number of non automated edits. What do you want to do with the tool? Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:15, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
As you can see, I am currently using WikiCleaner to fix errors and typos on Wikipedia. I would benefit from using this tool to semi automatically fix more errors and basic typos on the articles. Regards, Wikih101 (talk) 20:53, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
- Would you be open to waiting till you reach 500 edits? It might give you a better understanding of various editing issues. Wifione Message 17:43, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- I would prefer using AWB even before reaching the 500 edits because every time I get onto Wikipedia, I always see many typographic errors and is very tedious to manually correct them every time. Thank you for your understanding and I hope you could approve me, Wikih101 (talk) 23:59, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- Wikih101 seems to have popped over the 500 limit in a big way, but with huge automation assist. I like to see at least 400 non automated edits that show that thought has happened, rather than a video game button press. Will someone else consider granting the entry? - You haven't hit the 500 mainspace edit threshold. What do you wish to do with AWB? Tyrol5 [Talk] 12:54, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- I have. I've made 640 edits, including delete. Devin Davis (talk) 18:22, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- Or unless you're talking about unique article edits. Devin Davis (talk) 23:45, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- Correct. I'm talking about main (article) space edits (the red portion of the pie chart), of which you have about 330 or so. Apologies if I wasn't clear above. Tyrol5 [Talk] 03:33, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

- Mrt3366 (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email): I haven't hit the 500 mainspace edit threshold yet (since I registered on 8th February, 2012). But, I edit very frequently, and those tedious and repetitive edits eat most of my time here on wikipedia. I really want to contribute! thank you. --DrYouMe (Talk?) 19:12, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
- Not done Hang in there another month and you will get to that 500 mark with the experience. You have only been here 3 weeks. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:23, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- ChrisGualtieri (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) Been assisting in several projects and all of them seem to point to AutoWikiBrowser as a great tool for doing so. It would make the tedious task of editing and clean up easier so that I will actually want to do more of it. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 14:49, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
- I would like to see more manual edits rather than rollbacks and undos, to show you have experience in addition of material. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:23, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- I'll get right on that. There are quite a few pages that I can work on from the backlog manually too. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 15:28, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- I've done more manual editing, fixing and clean up of articles. I must note for my next review that I use STiki and do lots of AfC reviews so my manual edits seem few and far between. I do my best in these two projects yet I do add material and update frequently, but it should also be noted that I help edit through the IRC channels and do some backlog work on the side. I've read the Manual of Style thoroughly in lead up to asking for AutoWikiBrowser permission. I hope I can pass inspection now. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 15:56, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

- JayJay (talk • contribs • non-automated contribs • wikichecker • count • total • logs • page moves • block log • email) I am trying to work on fixing some links for the WP:MNSH and AutoWikiBrowser would greatly help, me along with adding WikiProject templates and assessing articles would make it much easier. I have almost 500 main space edits (not sure how many are not-automatic) also fixing any typos also working on Persondata templates without short description parameter category would greatly help me!
