Page Protection

Semi-protection: High level of IP vandalism. Junebea1 (talk) 11:44, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There is a lot of vandalism going on on this page, and hopefully if it gets semi-protected, then the problems will be solved. Thanks! Junebea1 (talk) 11:51, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: This request needs to be made at WP:RFPP. Celestra (talk) 15:17, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 18:55, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Gia

Since there is a discrepancy in relates to Gia's hometown in Bill Gorman's article, we'll have to put "TBA" for each "bad girl"'s hometown because Gorman messed up on Gia's hometown, so he could've messed up on the other girls' hometowns. Thanks-Junebea1 (talk) 20:37, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

We'll just have to wait for the preview special or the first episode.Junebea1 (talk) 20:38, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How do you know? At any rate, Bill Gorman did not write that article, it's a press release from Oxygen. It's been reverted back, thank you for understanding. —Mike Allen 23:23, 15 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It says Gia is from Delaware, but it then goes on to call her a Jersey girl. There is also a Newark, New Jersey, but since there is discrepancy we won't know until the actual airing of the episodes. Junebea1 (talk) 00:49, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Her ModelMayem profile also confirms Newark, Delaware. If it is wrong once the season starts, it can always be changed. —Mike Allen 04:27, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Mike on this one. Maybe Gia was born raised in NJ but lives and considers herself from DL. Though only the episodes (or the 30 min preview coming soon) will tell. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 18:55, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You can't just assume that. That's WP:Crystal. And you were the one who told me that Model Mayhem was unreliable. Since Model Mayhem is unreliable, I will change Gia's hometown back to "TBA" because Bill Gorman's article has a discrepancy and Model Mayhem is unreliable. Thanks! Junebea1 (talk) 19:51, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Mike wasn't the person who deemed it unreliable, as that was me. Secondly, we go by what the source states. If you feel as though a WP:RS (and maybe this can be called a WP:PRIMARY and if so it should be removed) made a slight error then have a discussion about removing the source from the article and building consensus. By just removing one information and leaving the rest, this falls from WP:OWN, because you feel as though the source is wrong, even though two users disagree with you. Lastly, what is WP:CHRYSTAL in any of our statements? Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 19:55, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know it was you who deemed it was unreliable because I responded to you, not Mike. You can't deem it unreliable in one instance and then agree with it in one instance. That is WP:OWN. Secondly, you said "Maybe Gia was born raised in NJ but lives and considers herself from DL. Though only the episodes (or the 30 min preview coming soon) will tell." This is WP:CRYSTAL. Your not disagreeing with me by the way, your disagreeing with facts. Clearly, we don't know if Gia is from Delaware or New Jersey because there is a discrepancy in the press release and we can't go by a website which you deem unreliable. This is also WP:OWN. Since it is a FACT that we don't know where Gia is born, we'll have to wait for the first episode or preview special, so I will change it back "TBA", since it makes sense to do so. Thanks--Junebea1 (talk) 20:18, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't agree with the source, I agreed with what Mike had stated. The way I stated about Gia was not WP:CHRYSTAL, I didn't state that she was born/raised in NJ and considers herself from being in DL to be true, I assumed it and never said it should be in the article because of my assumptions. Thirdly, the source is a WP:RS however, it hoovers WP:PRIMARY because it is a press release, with that being said, two users agree that we should follow the source whereas yourself disagrees, now that's WP:OWN honey. Please revert your recent edits or an AN/I would seem best for this community. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 20:35, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No, you cannot agree with Model Mayhem in one instance and disagree with it in another instance. That is WP:OWN. It's a fact we don't know where Gia is from. We don't have any reliable sources or reliable press releases. We have to follow the facts, not the unreliable sources. And don't call me honey, that's sexual harassment, and don't threaten me. Thanks--Junebea1 (talk) 20:42, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Its called Etiquette. Secondly, I guess I have to say this again I agreed with what Mike had said not the source. What is fact if there is only one source present in the article? Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 20:53, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Episodes

Tell me why this was initially added to the article? What encyclopedic information does the table even show readers? I agree with having it on the article when the first episode have aired (or when the synopsis is revealed) Also its unreferenced and gives no value to the article, currently. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 19:51, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You don't need a reference for this. Since this is a television show, there will obviously be a first episode. It also shows the readers when the first episode will air and it makes it easier for us in the future. Thanks--Junebea1 (talk) 19:53, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You're first sentence fails WP:CHRYSTAL, all information that describes a future event must be verified. You're second sentence is not true, there have been instances where shows are canceled or on hiatus, how do you know if this season will successfully air? (remember WP:OTHERSTUFF is not a valid argument, when you reply) You're last sentence, is not true, if the season will air on the 23 of January then any reader (who has WP:COMMONSENSE) will fully understand that the first episode will premiere on the 23 of January 2012, and now what encyclopedic information does the table show readers that the article body itself has not yet addressed? Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 20:04, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Template: Should we keep it or not?

User:AJona1992 disagrees with having it; however, I think it would make our lives easier in the future. It doesn't list any episodes names or summaries, as those haven't been released yet, it is simply for future use. Any suggestions? Junebea1 (talk) 21:45, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What encyclopedic information does the table show readers that the article body itself has not yet addressed? That's my only concern, I agree with you that it will be needed in the future but right now, it gives no purpose. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 21:48, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe just hide (<!-- -->) for now and wait until an episode description becomes available so it can be rewritten into our own words. —Mike Allen 22:58, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's a good idea! See, we came up with a consensus. :) Junebea1 (talk) 00:32, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request on 26 January 2012

I would like to edit the page, beginning with Danielle's nickname being "Dani" not "Danni." I would also like to add that the third episode is called "Chicks Before Hicks," where Erica befriends the twins to try and get Jenna out of the house, and Jenna finds out about their plans and confronts them. That's when chaos rules the house and the fight in the hallway happens. Also, after that fight is Jenna's last appearance. Then, a new girl, Elease Donnavon enters the house. Shorty after is when the opening fight, when everyone jumps the twins happens. It is unknown at this time what episode she comes in, it is guessed either episode 4 or 5. This is why i think i should be able to correct the page on my own because i have valuable information earlier than the website. But, If you feel that i've ever put any wrong information or any innapropriate things on here, which won't happen, you can take me off right away. I just want to help the viewers out, and maybe put episode information in a little early for sneak peeks or spoilers, but not too much information at first. But as the episode gets closer to premiering, a little more info. It is up to you what you want to do but I'm just trying to help make the page better. Thank you for reading this and considering my request.

If you want to be able to edit it yourself you need to either request unprotection at WP:RFPP or become autoconfirmed/confirmed--Jac16888 Talk 20:59, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Also you need to provide a reliable source for us to verify that the additions are true. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 21:02, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Important Info

--69.108.118.44 (talk) 03:25, 4 February 2012 (UTC) Actually the twins are jumped in episode 6 and Gia and Gabi are sent home for throwing the first punch. In the trailer Amy is fighting one of thier replacements. Then Dani goes to a hotel and befriends the replacements who arrive in episode 7[reply]

2/14/2012 redo The twins get jumped in episode 7 unfortunately both of the twins go home. It is unclear when the arrive but its most likely episode 8 or even later in 7 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PQD3LS7CqY&feature=related at 0:57 one of the twins replacement fights amy. and at 1:01 the other replacement is getting jumped. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.108.107.127 (talk) 15:21, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
