The New Editor's Barnstar
RioHondo, I hereby present to you this barnstar, for your positive contributions to Wikipedia, and in particular for your work on articles related to the Philippines. Well done! Mlm42 (talk) 04:40, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A few things to keep in mind

Hi RioHondo! I noticed you've been creating a few new list articles. I don't know if you are aware of the following guidelines, but I thought I should point them out anyway: Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Stand-alone lists is Wikipedia's style guideline for lists. Of particular importance is they should have a lead section (ideally it would be quite a lot more than a single sentence). Secondly, keep in mind the "notability" guideline for creating new articles, and in particular Wikipedia:Notability#Stand-alone_lists, which says:

A list topic is considered notable if it has been discussed as a group or set by independent reliable sources, per the above guidelines; notable list topics are appropriate for a stand-alone list.

I should warn you that if your lists don't satisfy that guideline, then they are at risk of being deleted (and it would be a shame to lose your work). Anyway, happy editing! :-) Mlm42 (talk) 00:33, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Nomination of List of beaches in the Philippines for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article List of beaches in the Philippines is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of beaches in the Philippines until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion.
