Current incumbent Fauzi Bowo is widely regarded as having failed to solve Jakarta's traffic jam and flooding problems, especially by his predecessor, Sutiyoso. Having declined public debate on TV, Fauzi Bowo was subjected to scathing attacks by Betawi activist Ridwan Saidi. They feel that Fauzi made only 5 new routes additions to the TransJakarta and TransJakarta is seen as providing worse service. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.169.39.250 (talk) 04:52, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Fauzi is seen by many Jakartans as having introduced worthwhile improvements to the much-discussed Transjakarta busway system << Source. I think this is not a neutral POV. Many Jakartans especially those who regularly use Transjakarta can attest to TransJakarta addition being more worthwhile under Sutiyoso rather than Fauzi Bowo. I should know. I live in Jakarta and regularly uses TransJakarta. Worthwhile is an overstatement.
