Heartbeat

Any information on her leading role as Dr Joanne Springsteen on HeartBeat, a medical drama? (in the 1980s) It lasted only one season, but she was the lead and it was fondly remembered by many of us. --75.55.200.217 19:35, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Heartbeat is mentioned in Mulgrew's filmography on IMDb.com but lacks detail. Adding more info right now might be tricky as she has an extensive filmography. First getting this article to Wiki biography standards might be best. --Zuejay 04:06, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
All right - added Heartbeat to the filmography. Also tried to make it more of a bio article. --Zuejay 04:32, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possible sources for this article - fact citation

  • Kate Mulgrew - Second paragraph almost matches this article, word for word, and supplies the citations.
  • Kate Mulgrew - Info about her daughter and possible pysche ramifications. Mentions husband's election efforts and loss which answers another citation. Only downside, article credits Wikipedia and may mirror some info.

Tim Hagan's article has the election citations requested. It shows he ran against Bob Taft and has the election results as a See also. Taft on his article is governor of Ohio from 1999 to 2007. Ronbo76 15:26, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removed section

I have removed a talk page section in accordance with privacy concerns and OTRS request number 2007021810000441. The discussion remains in the talk page history. Bastiqe demandez 21:43, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Has Wikipedia received a cease-and-desist order on this matter? Information concerning the extent of Ms. Mulgrew's family, a matter in the public domain, has been removed this article on the basis on some anon editor claiming to be Ms. Mulgrew's husband. This appears wrong and warrants action. Cited Source: Catholic Explorer, Jan. 19, 2001 http://www.totallykate.com/articles/cexplore.html Tobit2 (talk) 23:32, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Info box pic

We need some kind of info box picture. I suppose some kind of copyright thing why we can't have a Star Trek one in there. Though there is one below? --unsigned by User:Xiahou at 21:17 on 26 July 2007.

Yep. The thought is that someone who is living should have a free photo in their infobox showing them, not a character they portrayed that belongs to someone else, like Paramount. ZueJay (talk) 01:21, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hepburn

Something of a Katharine Hepburn look-alike? You've got to be kidding. Is this some combination of original research, NPOV, and hallucinatory drugs? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.154.250.210 (talk) 00:13, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Star Trek Voyager / Captain Kathryn Janeway

I've removed several copyvios from that section. The whole thing might be cut and paste from memory-alpha.org but I'm unable to confirm the items currently still there. Morder (talk) 20:35, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm for using the one on the right instead of the left one (currently in use). momoricks 02:11, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. The left one isn't exactly the most flattering.99.250.9.113 (talk) 03:51, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"STRIPES" THE MOVIE "BIT PART" OBJECT OF ADMIRATION OF JOHN LAROQUETE... "OH I WISH I WAS A LOOFAH!"

The Movie "STRIPES" 1981 WITH Bill Murray, John Candy, Judge Reinhold, John Laroquete, and Kate Mulgrew, et al. At approx. 36 min. into the Movie. The first "NUDE", in the womens soldiers shower scene, being "peeped on" with a telescope by John Laroquete's character, Is unmistakeably Kate Mulgrew. His view of her brings out his infamous line "Oh! I wish I was a Loofah," She does some fine soaping and rinsing, Her characteristic Smile, Face, Chin, Ear Lobes, Posture, and Size can be no one else. I saw this film again recently and had never recognized her before. At that time, and still today she leans toward films with Military topics and characters like "REMO WILLIAMS". She is today as lovely as she was at 25 yrs. old, a "TRUE BEAUTY FOR THE AGES." A Woman of great character with an astounding Career from Broadway to Hollywood. Stage Actress, T.V. Commercials, T.V. show bit parts, Mini-series Major Characters, Movie "bit parts", Major Movie Roles, and undaunting advocate for the elderly. She should be as proud of that "bit part" as any other full role. She is perfect in every way. Inside and out. Z282061 (talk) 00:45, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Early work

What about her appearance with James Garner in the short-lived series Man of the People? How about her first prime-time leading role in Mrs. Columbo / Kate Loves a Mystery? 75.200.150.255 (talk) 23:58, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Marital Status

There is at least some indication that she and Tim Hagan are no longer married - his Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000784265779) states that he is "Divorced". Yet I can't find any evidence anywhere else of this. Anyone know more? Frazzle (talk) 00:56, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
