Rollback

(add requestview requests)

I have used Twinkle for reverting vandalism on Wikipedia by watching pages. I must have the rollback feature to use Huggle. Adjkasi (discuss me) 07:21, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am requesting the feature and function of "Rollback", so that I can much more easily undo vandalism, particularly and specifically by the sock-puppets, confirmed or otherwise likely, of the blocked User:Nipponese Dog Calvero. — KC9TV 00:32, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Non-admin observation: this user has been warned in the recent past ([1], [2]) for falsely labeling edits as vandalism, as well as filing frivolous reports requiring administrator attention such as at WP:ANI [3] and WP:SPI [4]. I do not feel that this user is sufficiently experienced to be trusted with rollback rights. Elizium23 (talk) 09:07, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) I agree. I believe this user should correctly identify vandalism for at least another month before rollback should be granted. Maybe use Twinkle, which unlike rollback allows the "Rollback (VANDAL)" and "Rollback (AGF)" feature? CyanGardevoir (used EDIT!) 05:21, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done This edit is puzzling, where you revert someone else's vandalism warning as vandalism. Please re-apply after we can be sure you can revert vandalism without mistakes. Also, you have not been very active yet. It is not easy to fully understand the ANI problems mentioned by others above, but they do reduce our confidence in your work. Consider requesting a simpler user name at WP:CHU/S. In your signature you sign yourself as 'KC9TV' which is only a subset of your full user name. The name User:KC9TV is available and you can request it. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 18:17, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like rollback permission so I can use Huggle to fight vandalism. —JmaJeremyTALKCONTRIBS 04:39, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My Wikipedia career has chiefly been about anti-vandalism; I began using Twinkle on October 28, 2010, and have logged over 13,000 edits since then. I have been warned once for edit-warring (before my Twinkle usage) [5] and I was once warned (unjustly, IMHO) for failing to AGF and mistaking an edit as vandalism: [6] I hope that these minor transgressions can be overlooked as they represent a fractional part of my good-faith editing efforts. I may not use rollback much, but I intend to apply as an instructor at WP:CVUA and it is a prerequisite for that position. Elizium23 (talk) 09:22, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I like fighting vandalism so if I use Huggle then it will be a lot easier. MadGuy7023 (talk) 19:18, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Non-admin observation: I see few instances of anti-vandal activity among this user's 112 mainspace edits. --Seduisant (talk) 19:30, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Not done — Please consider re-applying for rollback after you've done 100 or more vandal reversions. We could check your work, and that would give us confidence that you know the rules. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 00:53, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
