Hello, community.I have been appointed for Wikimedia foundation recently. So, It would give me a ease of access for handling English Wikipedia if my account is flagged as Rollback rights.Thanks. Jordon (WMF) (talk) 12:30, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Do you intend to do anti-vandalism work? Or why do you need this flag? Armbrust, B.Ed. WrestleMania XXVIII The Undertaker 20–0 12:38, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, sure.I am hired by Wikimedia foundation for Legal and Community Advocacy.Regarding this matter, I would have to use this tool to quickly revert any edits if any legal matter occurs. Jordon (WMF) (talk) 12:45, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
A legal matter is not necessarily vandalism. I think the undo button or Twinkle should be enough. Also if it is really needed to you work, than why don't need Philippe (WMF) (talk · contribs) the permissions? (He doesn't have it.) Armbrust, B.Ed. That's not actually a notable point.Just because, he is my boss and his task is superintendency. While, my job requires daily operation. Jordon (WMF) (talk) 12:56, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Next time I will not revert non-vandalism again on pages, and give me back my rollback feature or I will delete Huggle.exe from my computer and will never come back. I may also be blocked indef by a sysop without having talk page access. Adjkasi (T | C | L) 04:13, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You asked on your talk page, I asked a question and you shortly later archived the talk page (again not responding to feedback). I think you need to stay away from any semi-automated tools until you learn to communicate with those who may bring up potential problems with said edits. You have shown so far that you have not realized that Rollback is an efficient tool for reducing vandalism, not upping your edit count. Calmer Waters 04:31, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to use Huggle but I need Rollback permissions to do so. Please check my contributions to see what work I have done to fight vandalism Thanks, Athleek123 20:09, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) Seems like a good user, he has made many helpful contributions. He has my vote. Cheers, Riley Huntley talk No talkback needed; I'll temporarily watch here. 22:32, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) Mine too. CyanGardevoir (used EDIT!) 03:27, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done Reverts look okay; Riley Huntley and Cyan Gardevoir, please consider not making "endorsements" or even "opposition" votes for someone's request, as this isn't RfA. If there is a reason why someone should not have a particular userright, then by all means feel free to mention it, but votes here aren't helpful, and no admin is going to accept any request without doing their own review first. Thanks. Acalamari 08:20, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
