- I am asking for autopatrolled status as I have written 70 articles and made around 25,000 edits to Wikipedia over the last year and a half (I was a lurking IP address for around the same amount of time before this). I am a regular contributor at WikiProject Football and I de facto run their task force on English non-league football. I have created articles on football clubs and seasons, cycling, renewable energy, surnames, flags, and some bios. None of these have ever been flagged for deletion. I have been successful in getting an article to GA status, and I have had three DYK nominations accepted and put on the front page. I have also created five templates, compiled five WikiBooks, and submitted many of my own photographs and image contributions to both Wikipedia and WikiMedia Commons. I appreciate the difficulty that New Page Patrollers have, as I also occasionally help out checking the new pages list. I believe that I know enough about Wikipedia policy and guidelines for any new pages I create to not qualify for speedy deletion criteria. Thanks. Del♉sion23 (talk) 22:40, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the wonderful work you're doing out here. I just want a few clarifications. Some of the articles like Northern Premier League Challenge Cup, Peter Swales Shield, 2009–10 North West Counties Football League, Rodolphe Alexandre, Alain Tien-Liong, etc have a few statements not supported by inline citations. Is there any particular reason for that? Thanks. Wifione Message 19:22, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
- Apologies for not replying sooner, but my internet has been down for a while. I'm now only temporarily using someone else's so will not be able to reply fully. I should be able to reply to your comments by Monday, so please don't remove this request for lack of clarification :) Cheers Del♉sion23 (talk) 10:19, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

- I have created 52 articles, most of them stubs covering Washington State Legislators. I have about 45 more to go, so I figured I would request autopatrolled rights before I move on. Also, please note that because of high replication lag, the page counter is not listing my most recent article creations. Gold Standard 04:01, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

- Mostly, I create articles as I only add information to those topics of which I have good knowledge. Exhaustive list of my contributions can be seen here. I have taken one article to GA status and I am fully aware of Wikipedia guidelines. I am also a contributor to Hindi Wikipedia, Commons and Wikiquote. I want this permission to be granted to me so that new page patrollers have lesser articles to patrol. I assure everyone that I will not misuse my status. - (Non-administrator comment) Articles such as Midtown Grand, one of your recent creations shows lack of reliable sources, as the only two sources are the hotel's website and TripAdvisor; both not neutral, but TripAdvisor is also unreliable. I would also suggest structuring articles better, for example on Midtown Grand, all of the current content there could have been included in a single section. In Old Courts Commercial Complex, Hisar, the article name is not boldened in the lead, which it should be. Other than that, this user has created 51 pages, with all of the most recent having references, however some include unreliable sources. ⇒TAP 18:31, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
- Hello Thine Antique Pen! I know I have used primary sources in some of the articles but in those cases I have used very basic information so that it remains neutral and I think in that way it can be used. And in case of citing TripAdvisor, I think it should not be even called as a reference as I have not said that Midtown Grand is the best hotel in Hisar but I said that it was adjudged as the best by TripAdvisor. I think in that case citing TripAdvisor itself would be the best option. Please let me know what you think. Thanks and regards, Vishal14K | Talk 03:08, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
- (Non-administrator comment) Article seems fine, however some extra care has to be given to referencing. However, I don't think that minor MoS problems are a big concern. Disclaimer - I am his instructor at WP:CVUA. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 13:48, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
- I guess I need some more experience while writing new articles. Now, I leave this decision completely in the hands of more experienced editors. Whatever decision they take, I will heartily accept. Thanks and regards, Vishal14K | Talk 18:56, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
