KUCR is a non-commercial radio station located in Riverside, California, broadcasting on 88.3 FM. KUCR airs college radio programming similar to other college radio stations across the country. The programming is divided into blocks by music genre: Underground, reggae, classical, Americana, world, jazz, and hip-hop. Listeners of KUCR 88.3FM will recognize Walter of the Woodz and Tina Bold's Vinyl Hours as two long-standing programs on KUCR. The station also includes the widely popular sports roundup "Jock Talk" hosted by KCAL 9 affiliate Ram Menon and former Highlander Newspaper sports editor Michael Rios. KUCR now includes in its program the rapidly expanding "Philosophy Talk" broadcast by two Stanford University Philosophy professors (Ken Taylor and John Perry) from the Bay Area: "We question everything .... except your intelligence" ...[1]
