Rollback

(add requestview requests)
I've been nine months editing in Wikipedia, and fighting vandalism is one of my primary activities, so Rollback would be great to do a better job. LlamaAl (talk) 03:20, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I fight quite strongly against vandalism, as I believe all information on Wikipedia should always be accurate, as often as possible. I've dealt with vandalism on a few popular pages, and many pages focused on/around Queensland and Australian pages. Being able to use the Rollback feature would be a great help. I've not found any aggressive stance against vandalism from you. But you do have reverted some vandal edits in the past. Your general edits are appreciated. Any administrator or I shall grant you the rollback right if you promise that in the future, you will leave a warning note on each and every ip/editor whose edits you are reverting as vandalism. Also, please read up on what is vandalism and what is not vandalism. Just a question; have you ever used any tool like Twinkle for reverting vandalism? Wifione Message 03:41, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I can do that! That seems pretty fair. And no, I haven't used any tools like that, it just seemed less cumbersome to take the traditional approach. TravellerQLD (talk | contribs) 06:35, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am an editor since 2010 on en.wikipedia with more than 2500 edits. I am interested in monitoring recent changes in pages related to India and medical sciences. Having rollback rights would help me fight vandalism effectively. I already have rollback rights on ml-wikipedia. Netha (talk) 08:01, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Would you wish to work for a week or so in attempting to revert vandalism before we grant the rollback right? It'll ensure that you learn to identify vandalism clearly from what is not vandalism. Wifione Message 03:32, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think my requested for the right prematurely. I have gone through the links and I've understood them, but I think I require more practical experience. I will come back after making more attempts to revert vandalism. Thanks! -- Netha (talk) 09:30, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have been an editor for wikipedia for several years. In those years I've been reverting vandalism on various film and music articles. As I've been stalked by certain ban evaders, it would be easier to have the rollback option just to make things quick and simple without having things go overboard. Thank you!
