Move
I have moved this page to the macronned spelling of her name in accordance with WP:JATITLE. Her books in Japan are often published with her name spelled in roman letters on the cover.[1] elvenscout742 (talk) 04:56, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Yōko Ogawa → Yoko Ogawa – as per WP:JATITLE#Names of modern figures. Yoko (not Yōko) is "the form personally or professionally used by the person", because it is used on most of her books such as まぶた, 犬のしっぽを撫でながら, 猫を抱いて象と泳ぐ, みんなの図書室 and みんなの図書室2. Additionally, it is "the form publicly used on behalf of the person in the English-speaking world", because it is also used on all the English translations of her books such as The Diving Pool, Revenge, Hotel Iris and The Housekeeper and the Professor. 124.102.69.27 (talk) 08:04, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
