Thanks

Many thanks. Yes, I was beginning to wonder if I'd done something wrong... ICSZ (talk) 16:38, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

AIV report

Hi Closedmouth,

In regards to this query - the user in question continued to add unsourced content ([1]) to the article - despite being warned. In regards to the warnings they recieved - a L3 OR warning straight off by another user, I don't personally agree with; however, when I reverted the unsourced edits futher, using Huggle, the tool automatically sent out a warning (successive to the one presently there), and in the case of a L4 warning present on the talk page, it maked an AIV report. Hope I have clarified things for you. Cheers, —MelbourneStartalk 13:15, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:Cpasrilanka requesting unblock

Hello Closedmouth. It may be time to unblock User talk:Cpasrilanka since he has now proposed an acceptable user name that doesn't mention his firm or profession. I notice that his deleted article was a total copyright violation. But my guess is that he should get at least some leeway to show that he understands. On the other hand, if you think there should be more dialog on his talk page before unblocking, let me know. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 15:42, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I have no problem with him being unblocked. --Closedmouth (talk) 07:41, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Crap, I forgot I had rollback on en.wp (I really never ever use it). I was going to click "undo" and see what was changed, but missclicked and it didn't revert far enough back anyway. Also, you know this is being vandalized because of XKCD right? --Splarka (rant) 12:30, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. And yeah, I'm actively monitoring the comic because I have nothing better to do apparently. Protecting seems to trigger the article change so now I'm just reverting. --Closedmouth (talk) 12:33, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You could probably subvert this with a hidden edit filter that prevents all edits to said article. Heh heh. --Splarka (rant) 12:35, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If I had any idea how to use the damn thing I'm sure I could! --Closedmouth (talk) 12:37, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, might be worth requesting one from abusefilter group. --Splarka (rant) 12:45, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
