In film
Didn't he appear as himself at the end of Billy Madison too? I can't find it anywhere, but I could swear I remember it.
He also appeared in Man of the Year (2006) as a political commentator. Probably just as himself

What was the name of that phone-in information service, for whose ads James Carville lended his voice back in 2003? 74.68.123.162 (talk) 00:24, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Deformed?
Is there a reason he looks like something out of Silence of the Lambs or The Hills Have Eyes? 74.56.36.34 (talk) 09:33, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Silence of the Lambs wasn't even a monster movie you idiot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.68.66.92 (talk) 03:26, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Prejudiced
Why was it necessary to mention that Carville speaks with a distinct Louisiana dialect? This sounds a little bigoted to me. Would the same contributor mention that someone from the Bronx speaks with a "distinct Bronx dialect"?TruthCounts (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 03:23, 15 September 2008 (UTC). His nickname is the "Ragin' Cajun". Grow up and don't be so PC. He is known for having a distinctive voice. Its not offensive, unless of course you are suggesting there is something wrong with being from Louisiana. 97.91.168.174 (talk) 10:50, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Democrats to Rule for Next 40 Years?
Will James Carville now say that he was wrong, after only one year??

Oil pipe repairs
James I have been a fan of yours for years i dont no who else to contact Im just a working stiff Who works with boilers and run accross what we are dealing with in the Gulf.It seems they are trying to stop the oil from the inside of the pipe instead outside. Why not install a split ring couping With a larger pipe size that would clamp onto the out side of pipe. The larger pipe would extend past the damaged well pipe a nother flange with a valve that is open can be attached to that and pressed together one complete valve would be closed and oil flow would stop. Sound s simple but it might work. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.253.210.200 (talk) 17:24, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Cajun ancestry
I have removed the doubtful claim that he has Cajun ancestry. I would welcome anyone who can cite an authoritative source on that, to put it back with a citation. Wjhonson (talk) 22:23, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure why the claim would be considered "doubtful"; a fairly large percentage of people from south Louisiana (and Carville is from there) do have Cajun ancestry (I don't know what the exact percentage is). However, I have no problem with the removal of the statement from the article. Maybe there's some reliable sourcing for the assertion about Carville, somewhere. 30 Rock Episode
Carville's quotes from the 30 Rock episode do not need to be cited, as the episode itself is cited in-text and will prove that he did say the things noted.

Fraternity membership?
I have a digital copy of pages 236-237 of LSU's 1963 yearbook, the Gumbo. In it, the Sigma Nu fraternity lists a "C.J. Carville" as one of its members, and the corresponding picture is definitely of Carville. I'd know his "unique" look anywhere. I have looked at Sigma Nu's roster in the surrounding years, and he is listed and pictured only in 1963 and 1964, no other years, and I can't find anywhere else that he was a member of Sigma Nu, or any fraternity, for that matter. Is the yearbook a sufficiently trustworthy source? I can send/post the page from the yearbook if you would like, but I don't know what the rules are on all that.

James Carville cameo in Wedding Crashers
I believe that James did a short "cameo" in Wedding Crashers. See: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0142598/
