I want to create a page for my Football Club which is based in our hometown and this is the first time i'm creating a page in wiki Mistymiff (talk) 23:25, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Have you read and understood Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies)? Your football club must have achieved sufficient notability to be of encyclopedic interest. Wikipedia isn't a free web space for organizations or clubs.
Also it is abundantly clear that you aren't aware of Wikipedia:Conflict of interest guidelines. Please don't write articles about topics with which you are affiliated. Therefore no Declined. Make enough constructive contributions elsewhere and you'll earn your autoconfirmed status. A good way to start might be to submit an article at WP:AFC for consideration. ~Amatulić (talk) 02:10, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The name of the company has changed from Genji, Inc. to Genji, LLC so I would like to "move" the account, and I would like to be able to upload an image of one of the stores and the company logo as a means of identifying the article "Genji_Inc."

(Non-administrator comment) Page moves can be requested at Wikipedia:Requested moves, also, you can request that an image be uploaded for you by established users here: Wikipedia:Files for upload. Mlpearc (powwow) 16:59, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Question: Are you editing through a Tor node by any chance? If you are, then that would explain why you aren't confirmed yet. If you weren't using Tor you'd be confirmed by now. ~Amatulić (talk) 03:05, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Answer: No I´m not using open proxy, but never mind! Tomorrow I am a confirmed user so I will wait.../Bro(sv) (talk) 14:53, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Think you might've made a fencepost error there, Amatulic. Incidentally, can't you check if a user is autoconfirmed by consulting "implicit member of" @ UserRights? — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 20:23, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
To change the main profile image on the page
It appears from your edits that you are referring to changing the image on a biography of a living person.  Not done - These types of images must be free as they are replaceable. Free images should be uploaded to our free image repository, the Commons. You do not need any special permissions to upload there and you can use the same username and password you use here.. Independent scholar and photographer would like to request rights to upload images and make academic edits to articles related to nature, landscape, architecture, art history and historical preservation topics. I would like to upload 2 close up images for the Strongylodon macrobotrys article that demonstrate the colour saturation and details of the unique flowers..

Not done - As per the notice at the top of this page, this type of file can be uploaded using the Files for Upload process which will not require advanced permissions. You could also upload them yourself right now at Wikimedia Commons using the same username and password you have here, making it easier for the images to be shared by other websites. As to the article edits, you should be able to edit most articles without being confirmed, and it doesn't take long for your account to be autoconfirmed. Reason for requesting confirmed rights shikhar gupta 20:02, 4 May 2013 (UTC) I need to edit semi-protected pages. Pleassse help!
  •  Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! GB fan 22:46, 4 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Considerable lack of detail on the 'Policies' section of the UK Independence Party's page, when such information is clearly available from the party's website. 06afeher (talk) 18:14, 5 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I want to add on Bing's page that it does not support HTTPS. I don't work for Bing, or a competing company. I also use many different search engines including Bing. I just think it is a matter that should be shared with everyone. Coldwaterq (talk) 19:48, 5 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
