Proposed Deletion

The article Missing iPhone 5 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not an notable event

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Shadab Restaurant requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Scjessey (talk) 14:10, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:43, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting transclusion

Hi Fauzan. Transcluding a template as I did here is a valuable edit even if it looks like a big fat red -3238 in the recent changes log. I've reinstated the edit. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 22:02, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I reverted your your edit by mistake while looking for vandalism. I checked the differences in your edit and the previous one and I did not find any constructive edits at that time. Fauzantalk ✆ email ✉ 22:07, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to insist but in that case you have to look harder at the edit and figure it out. In the end, I don't really care all that much: I know what I'm doing, I'm a longtime editor and I just reinserted the edit. But I could have been a well-intentioned newbie or someone that gets really ticked by these things. You just reverted the change without considering the edit summary (which clearly stated the objective and without notifying me). That's not good enough. WikiProject India Tag & Assess 2012 Contest

Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.

As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.

If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide. Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so.

You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way.

A cup of coffee for you!

Hi Fauzan, happy to know that you began assessing and that your score is now 1. We look forward to your returning to assessment soon. Remember, its more important that you assess rather than how much you assess.

Tag and Assess 2012

Hi Fauzan, Welcome to Tag and Assess 2012. Thanks a lot for your contributions. Please add importance to the daughter projects as well (ex. |goa-importance=low). Wish you a happy stay in the project.01:36, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

Actually, I left it out because I am not familiar with Goa, someone more familiar with Goa may do that. Although, I assessed the importance of very obvious articles. I will try to assess the importance while continuing on. Fauzantalk ✆ email ✉ 06:41, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Some comments regarding assessment

Thanks a lot for helping in assessment, may i also request you to include the importance parameter for the state projects e.g.[1] and [2]. I guess these minor point must have skipped your attention as you are careful about them, but i thought of informing this as not using the importance paramenter |andhra-importance=low|assess-date=March 2012 will take them to the category andhra pradesh articles of unknown importance and sadly will have to be done again. Lets prevent the double work [3] , thanks and regrds -- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 05:21, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Poor assessment

I've noticed a few poor assessments but this correction to your actions was particularly necessary. I am unsure why you did that which you did, but presumably it was an errant mouse click or something. - Sitush (talk) 20:12, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fauzan, think it is a typo - but please take care of such things. Thanks a lot for making rapid progress with fresh assessments - with contributors like you, we have brought the fresh assessments under 5,000. Keep up the good work mate. Ssriram mt (talk) 03:30, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. While using Yuvi's tool, sometimes mis-click leads to such problems. Fauzantalk ✆ email ✉ 05:28, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your last two edits to Islam

You have mentioned at User_talk:Adjwilley#Picture_removal that you got confused on one change. But this change is amazing (not good). I can only hope I was not too rude with my edit summary

It says "Islamic Center of Irving", as in Irving, Texas, USA - the certificate is on a Pizza Inn box - what 'Indian' are you talking about?

If you have a problem with "marriage in Islam requires a legal marriage certificate" then maybe ask on the talk page. Perhaps you shouldn't be making changes without checking first? Shenme (talk) 06:14, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fauzan, if I may ask, what led you to writing your recent edits to the Islam page? Did you have contextual evidence from a reliable source?

Rationale for including non notables

Hi Fauzan, I confess I don't have a clue how this edit summary explains the need to once again restore a chart listing non-notable school administrators [4]. Though I'm not going to revert right now, the policies re: individual notability include school and university staff; is there a rationale for continuing to include these persons? Thanks, 99.149.85.229 (talk) 18:30, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
