Bishop of Scattery Island, Ireland

This is completely random! But on Irish radio this minute ('Drivetime' RTÉ Radio 1), there is a piece about how the Bishop of Brooklyn is the Bishop of Scattery Island in County Clare, Ireland. Frank Caggiano had been invited, in his role as bishop, to attend a festival there. This article mentions nothing about this bishopry having a constituency in Ireland in 2013. How on earth did the Bishop of Brooklyn become bishop of a place in rural Ireland? 89.101.41.216 (talk) 15:57, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
