Pernambut is a town in Vellore district, Tamil Nadu State, India. The town is famous for its Leather industry.[1] The Yelagiri hills are about 60km away, and are a nice cool place for visitors. It very attractive for the children as well as for the locals.[2]

The town is having a good transport facilities forall directions through State Highways major district roads and village roads. These roads are having access to surrounding important towns like Vaniyambadi, Ambur, Gudiyatham and Vellore. It also connects metro cities of Chennai and Bangalore. .
Religion
Worship places in pernambut include mosques (Chouck Mosque, Small Mosque, Park Mosque, Jamiya Mosque, Lal Mosque), koils (Aanchaneyar Koil, Krishnan koil, Vinayagar Koil) and a St. Pauls Lutheran church - IELC.[4][5]

D.P Palayam - దక్షిణ పాత పాలెం
Dakshina Patha Palem also known as D.P Palayam is one of the nearest villages to visit. Sri Veera Vijaya Anjaneya Swami temple is famous in this village. Every month during the full moon day special poojas, aaradhans are performed to lord Hanumanji, thousands of people in and around Chittoor, Gudiyattam,Pernambut and Vellore visit this temple.
One can reach D.P Palayam from Pernambut via Gudiyattam. From Pernambut APSRTC operates direct buses to Paradarami that goes to Tirupathi via Chittoor. One can reach D.P Palayam by one of the APSRTC buses or any Private services that operates in this route and getdown in Paradarami and reach D.P Palayam.
