I've put Michael Foale before Tennyson, not because I think he's more important, just that Foale was born in Louth but Tennyson wasn't. Dupont Circle 18:11, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)

A little-known piece of trivia: The new metal strips showing the Greenwich Meridian Line do not line up with the older plaque [sic?] next to Moby Dick's fish and chips shop. This is probably because the plaque [sic?] would be on the glass door if it was positioned absolutely correctly. Ludensians etc

Reverted the removal of most of the famous inhabitants of Louth; this needs discussion before it is enacted. List needs clean-up but not such drastic action, which removes many points of interest from the article. N.B. Ludensians *not* restricted to those born in Louth, as per reverted edit: see the 'Old Ludensians' (ex-Grammar school) etc etc. (although I'm pretty sure Ludensians are named after the Latin name of the town (Lude/Luda), not the river...) Etymology of "Louth"?
