Rollback

(add requestview requests)

I've occasionally reverted vandalism since my early days on Wikipedia, but this year I've taken steps to be more thorough and educated. I often patrol RC and newbie contribs, and I've also (very) recently started using Twinkle. Rollback would make it a bit easier to tackle some more complicated issues of vandalism, etc, and I'd like to start using some extra editing tools, namely STiki. I try to be as responsible and open as possible in my activities on Wikipedia. Thanks, ~ Boomur [] 01:42, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting rollback Rose$keel (talk) 12:23, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I only add reliable sources since the time it was brought to my notice by one of the administrators. But repeated vandalism on my edits is demotivating me to an extent that I want to stop making any more value edits to wikipedia pages. Please grant permission for rollback to my account so that my hard research for reliable sources doesn't go waste when vandals change the edits I have made.

Not done. considering that you have only made forty edits to articles it was easy to see what you are talking about. You are involved in a content dispute and have been edit warring to try and get your way. That is exactly the wrong reason to be requesting advanced permissions. I suggest you follow the advice already given to you by Ponyo. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:56, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I do not revert vandalism much but recently I keep coming across a lot which i feel I could fix much easier with rollback, I have been around since 2006 and I used to have "global rollbacks" before i retired my previous account so i feel i have the necessary experience required for this tool. I have a lot of jazz articles on my watchlist and would like to be able to remove clear examples of vandalism without doing everything manually or having to wait for someone else to do it. This has occurred previously and becomes frustrating. I have contributed to GA and to GA reviews and FA reviews, so wish to maintain/increase standards in the jazz field in particular and see this right as one way of helping to achieve that.
