:My contributions to the project

I was just thinking, for my future unblock request I should list a few things I worked on and supported, defended and suchlike that were beneficial to the project -

Wikipedia:List of users resysopped by a bureaucrat

I spent a fair few hours of my free time going through the crats history and created this list, It is now a very useful list for reference. - Youreallycan 08:25, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Pending changes

This was a project I very strongly supported and still do. I contributed to months and months of lengthy discussions regarding its value, there was a lot of strong and vocal opposition to the tool but it was finally accepted and now has its value in protecting some articles, especially regarding WP:BLP articles about living people. User:Beeblebrox and a few others worked hard also and thanks to them all the tool is now a valuable asset to the wiki toolbox. Youreallycan 08:32, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BLPN

toolserver contribution history stats to WP:BLP noticeboard

I am still by far the major contributor to this noticeboard. I spent hours and hours and hours of my free time defending all sorts of living people there. Youreallycan 08:53, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

True -- though I would like to think my third place was not shabby. Alas - "Ave atque vale" due to a strange ArbCom "decision" - see my UT page if you wonder just what they did. Cheers to all. Collect (talk) 12:59, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(belated comment) What kills me is that even though I've very infrequently posted to BLPN since becoming an admin, I'm still in second place. What did I do before my adminship? Live at BLPN? Lord.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:59, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You cut your teeth there Bbb23 - Youreallycan 20:28, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

WP:GA contributions

I assisted on a few more but two I clearly can claim to have improved to GA standard are the two English Labour party leaders - Gordon Brown and Ed Milliband ,Youreallycan 06:02, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Move to the Commons

Transfering commons licence compatable picture files to commons

I spent hours and hours of my free time assessing copyright and transfering thousands of picture files to commons from the "move to commons" templeted page. Youreallycan 06:16, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Quarter Million Award

The Quarter Million Award
For your contributions to bring Ed Miliband (estimated annual readership: 403,000) to Good Article status, I hereby present you the Quarter Million Award. Congratulations, and thanks for all you do for Wikipedia's readers! -- Khazar2 (talk) 13:17, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know the circumstances of your block, but still wanted to express my gratitude for your work. Cheers and all best, -- Khazar2 (talk) 13:17, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you - thanks so much Khazar2 - Youreallycan 15:17, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Something else I am proud about contributing - my non free rational and upload of the infobox pic for this notable father of a very notable person - if someone would please correct the spelling missie of Pritned I would really appreciate that - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ralph_Miliband_in_1958.jpg - I also think there is a WP:GA on this article waiting to happen - Youreallycan 20:05, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I corrected the typo, and hope that you will return to active editing soon. I wish you well. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 20:20, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Aw - ta Cullen , thank you - I will look at another unblock request after a year - next spring , uk spring, february - ish.Youreallycan 20:26, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

this is one of my proudest

currently protected -

about to be one the main page - not only was I the original uploader - I also encouraged and supported another user with advanced permissions to create the commons template for the then yet unsupported gov release copyright status

Your hunch, and your guess

I'll give you the troll part, but not the identification: there's a huge difference in writing ability. This was just some patronizing stuff by someone getting involved with something they didn't know nothing about. Unfortunately, I can't really act on the trolling for lack of evidence, really. Thanks Rob, and take care, Drmies (talk) 17:39, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
