With regard to the comment you posted on my article "Okay, this is a step forward, but we need sources inserted as WP:Footnotes. It should be explicit to the reader which sources verify which statements. So please review WP:Footnotes and apply them to the main body of your article. Disambiguation link notification for November 28

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Holy Family Cathedral, Kuwait, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ahmadi, Kuwait (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Anne Noggle

I had submitted an article on Anne Noggle a couple of years ago that was rejected because I had quoted from an unpublished source. I notice that WP now has an entry on Anne that is incomplete. Please direct me to where I can find out about editing the existing article. Thanks for the email that prompted me to think about the entry on Anne again. User:Mafh01/sandbox/lunch box, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Mafh01/sandbox/lunch box and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). Declined/recover

Hey Matthew

You declined my page - this is fine as i expected as much. Can i at least get the writing back to i can continue the joke elsewhere? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Farrell.matthew.s (talkcontribs) 00:57, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Probably not. If Wikipedia makes your text available again, that'd be a violation of policy since that would be de-facto re-releasing potentially libelous comments about someone. If you have a copy saved somewhere and want to put it up on Facebook or whatever, that's your call, but I'm pretty sure Wikipedia staff would consider unveiling your writing again to be a form of endorsing your prank. It may well be that your subject is totally cool with the joke article, but our fundamental rules require that we don't say anything about a living person unless it's documentably provable, since it could theoretically cause real-world harm to someone to allow incorrect info to be posted about them. For all we know, [your subject] could be extremely upset about such things being said about him, or it could cause his wife to become suspicious of him and storm out, or lord knows what. So we have no real reason to hook you up here, and no reason not to be totally extra-cautious about having any potentially misleading info about someone posted here, per our policy Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Hope this helps. MatthewVanitas (talk) 20:33, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/ Store Front Museum

Hi, re this edit. It wasn't that the old draft did not delete - it was moved to article space correctly, but Citation bot (talk · contribs) then trashed the redirect. It actually happens quite a lot. --Redrose64 (talk) 15:10, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Article declined

hey Matthew, You recently reviewed my article "Olympic Taekwondo" and declined. You wrote that there was already an article with the same title, but when I clicked on the Link to the article that was supposed to be the existing one it lead me to my article on an other page for creation that already got deleted. So there is no other article with the same title or subject. Do I just resubmit? I'm afraid it will get deleted again.Nelelemke (talk) 05:30, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) This is rather complicated, because the page has been moved several times between namespaces, and not all the moves were accompanied by an appropriate cleanup, which led to other people making possibly the wrong decision about cleanup. I'll try to place the events in chronological order.
I have now partially reverted the last edit to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Olympic Taekwondo so it should now be reviewed properly. --Redrose64 (talk) 11:26, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much! Having some trouble with all the different namespaces^^ Nelelemke (talk) 05:17, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A little guidance?

Matthew Vanitas -- Thanks for reviewing my submitted page on Ramon Ricker. I'd like to make some edits so that the page will meet Wikipedia's standards. I understand the page's problems have to do with footnoting. Can you give me one or two examples from the draft text that need to be footnoted? Then I could go through and either remove those sections or add the appropriate footnotes.

Thanks so much, Dennytripp (Chris Privett) Dennytripp (talk) 14:31, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You & Follow-Up Question

Re: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Ray Ricker

Matthew Vanitas --

Thanks so much for your feedback. I'll make some changes and add the appropriate citations in order to meet Wikipedia specs.

One follow-up question: Is the Published Works section OK? Or would I have to link to those publishers/outlets as a form of verification? Or could I just link to Ricker's website via the section header, since all of those items would be cited there?

Thanks again, Dennytripp

Minor note: don't forget to always post a link to whatever you want someone to look at, and don't type your name, "sign" is by typing "~" four times in a row, and it'll autosign with time/date/links.
Published Works is fine; you do not want to footnote to the publishers/Amazon/etc because that would be promotional, and generally speaking a book existing or no is considered "self evident" thus not needing evidence. Either there's a 2003 "History of Apples" by J. Smith or there isn't, no controversy there.
Do not link to Ricker's website in the section header, simply provide his official site as the first of your "External links"; that's where everyone will look to see it, there and the infobox should be the only links to his main page, and you can only cite his own page for the most basic non-controversial data like what city his company is based in, or what year founded/born/etc.
So far as Published Works, you want to give the high points but not bewilder the reader, so take a glance at some other musician articles to see how big/small is appropriate. Check out the actual guideline Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lists of works, which should help. Good luck! MatthewVanitas (talk) 20:21, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

hi, You just deleted the article I wrote. You should have given me atleast sometime to go through the article and make it encyclopedic. It took some hardwork to write all of it. Now, where do I find the article?
