Grand Theft Auto

It states that he recorded it exclusively for the game. I checked the source and it never states that, and when I played the game it sounded like part of American Hustle. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.180.105.44 (talk) 00:33, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Christopher Maurice Brownhe says Liberty City which is the in game city quite a few times in the sequence —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.246.179.127 (talk) 06:08, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Roles

What about friday after next? Isnt he Money Mike? That was his most memorable role..... he also appeared on the show my wife and kids as Bobby Shaw. He also appeared in a CUTS episode which was hilarious.

    • This is in the article, if you read it.

Also, I think this is a pretty good article on him, especially since a lot of that information can't actually be cited. There's not exactly a history book on rap/hip-hop that would have all of that information, yet. Anybody have any information on his childhood growing up? Particularly his parents, and the formation of his career. - Russ

How about some information on his immediate family i.e. his seven children? Six of which, according to imdb.com are adopted. Is there a wife or common law wife? Is he a single father? Under what circumstances did he adopt? - louisianalibrarylady

I heard all of his children are adopted.. He said that on a radio show...--Sassychick1898 18:24, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking we could add more categories to the page, in order to incorporate more of the information from past versions and to organize incoming information. Keep the categories that already exist and add new ones such as Television Appearances,Video Appearances, Movie Appearances and News & Controversy.

What about his outright racist comments? Is that not worth mentioning?!

What racist comments? And when did he say he was leaving Wild and Out? S3 finished well after Pimp Chronicles aired on HBO. And where was Pimp Chronicles Pt. 2 announced? I NEVER say this but...this article needs sources.

Dipset Rapper

ummm i was wondering why the information of katt being a member of dipset and diplomat records isn't visble on his page and i was wondering if anyone can add it?

The entire page appears to have been lifted from Katt Williams' biography page. I'm placing a copyvio tag on this. Trvsdrlng (talk) 04:42, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

This article is rife with vandalism. I'm trying to clean it up but, am having trouble finding the last "clean" version. Some help would be appreciated. Jasynnash2 (talk) 17:12, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the page was messed up when someone tried to add a death-place (he's not dead) and didnt know how to edit the infobox. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.176.133.50 (talk) 21:44, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So is he dead, was it all just a rumor? I hope so all the good people die and he is really funny, I think we need to look through some news articles to see if we can find Katt Williams death on one of them or multiple times. HairyPerry 15:34, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article doesn't seem neutral.

Now I love Katt Williams as much as the next guy, but "Katt’s prodigious talent seems to know no limits"? To me it seems this article could use some editing. I'm not going to do it myself because I'm not privy to Wikipedia's rules. Oh, and didn't he get arrested on weapons charges? It says that elsewhere on Wikipedia. Wouldn't that be article-worthy? Birthday

His birth year is stated as three different dates in this article, 1973, 1972, and 1974 207.8.173.98 (talk) 21:45, 30 November 2010 (UTC)Nov 30 2010[reply]

IMDB lists it as 1973 whereas the ABC source puts it at 1971 or 1972. IMDB is generally not considered a reliable source for biographical information but then that article mentions his age in passing and it doesn't strike me as something they would have checked too carefully. Anyone have any ideas? If we can't find/agree upon a reliable source then all we're left with is removing his birthday from the article. SQGibbon (talk) 00:05, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Quitting Stand Up

His website says he quit stand up and there's a Facebook page entitled "Bring Katt Back!", set up by his people. At the bottom of the page it says "Will Katt ever do stand-up again?" This should be mentioned in the article. Jackass2009 (talk) 05:29, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Katt Williams

I did not realize that I was changing the actual page but wanted to submit the information for your site to make corrections. To those of us not use to having to edit on this site, you have Not made it very user friendly. And I promise never to correct wrong information here again, I will just go to another source and research. I am so sorry that I messed with the fabricated Bio of Katt williams but if you wish to have the story its in his biography so you can correct your site cause the info you have is bogus or incomplete. http://www.kattwilliams.com/biography/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.224.63.32 (talk) 09:08, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"===Anti-Mexican rant===

On August 27, 2011, at a standup performance in Phoenix, Arizona, Katt Williams got into an argument with a heckler in the studio audience. Once he found out that the offending audience member was of Mexican descent, he started insulting Mexico and Mexicans, arguing that the country should have fought to maintain California and that U.S. citizens of Mexican descent should 'get back over there' if they are more patriotic to Mexico than the USA, and then chanted 'USA.' He then went on to say, that he has love for his Mexican American homies and seemed to win the crowd over. The member of the studio audience was later ejected from the venue by security staff. "===Heckler controversy===

On August 27, 2011, at a standup performance in Phoenix, Arizona, Katt Williams responded to a heckler of Mexican descent by joking that Mexico should have fought to maintain California, and that Mexicans living in the U.S. should 'get back over there' if they prefer Mexico to the U.S. He then began a chant of 'U-S-A.' He went on to say that he has love for his 'Mexican-American homies.'

After the heckler had stood up several times and appeared to approach the stage, he was removed from the venue by security staff. [citation needed]"

Not done: The whole thing is unsourced and not notable enough to merit a mention in the article. I've removed it entirely. Avicennasis @ 09:33, 4 Elul 5771 / 09:33, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why was his "Legal problems" section taken out? It had reliable sources and everything and plus it was there since the beginning. It totally expanded this page and put source into this article. 173.61.162.206 (talk) 03:34, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I only skimmed the section but at least several of the sources seem reliable and the subject's legal issues certainly seem notable enough for inclusion. For the people who think the section shouldn't be in the article are there any specific complaints? There is a lot of information and including all of it might come across as undue weight so perhaps trimming it down to just the major issues would help? Just a thought. Location of residence

Isn't Accokeek in Maryland, not California as the article indicates?
