Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to 2012 Shwebo earthquake may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Information icon Hello, I'm Dawnseeker2000. I noticed that you made a change to an article, 2011 Java earthquake, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on other people again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people.--Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 20:59, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked temporarily from editing for evading a previous block. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 21:08, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attacks and trolling have been removed, and talk page access revoked. If you do the same sort of thing again, I will feel free to just revert and block, and won't bother to tell you that I've done so. JamesBWatson (talk) 22:25, 17 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing again, this time for a substantially longer period, because you have continued to evade the block on your account. If you look at the talk page of your account, you will see that there are instructions on how to request an unblock. Simply ignoring the block and editing without logging in is not the way to do it. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:21, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This blocked user (block log | active blocks | autoblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs | abuse log) has had their talk page access revoked because an administrator has identified this user's talkpage edits as inappropriate and/or disruptive. If you would like to make further requests, you may contact the Arbitration Committee at arbcom-appeals-en@lists.wikimedia.org. Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 21:00, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Climate of Russia, but you didn't provide a source. Citing sources

Thanks for asking! The easiest way is to just add a ref: Next to a point on the text where you want the reference, put a url (I use Wikipedia as an example, but use a web page where one can find the information) as the following: <ref>[http://en.wikipedia.org Wikipedia]</ref> This will be replaces with a number in brackets such as: [4]. The reference will automatically into the references section. For information see wp:reliable sources, wp:citing sources. Another good way to figure this stuff out is to "edit" an article and look at how someone else did it. If you see something like: {{cite web, that is a template. The 'manual' can be found by placing "template:" in front of it in the search box. template:cite web, template:cite book These are often used inside of refs such as <ref>{{cite web |url= http://en.wikipedia.org ... etc... }}</ref> instead of the "bare URL". Hope this helps. Happy editing! Jim1138 (talk) 05:38, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

BTW: Apology graciously accepted. We all are learning here and all make errors. I am probably one of the worst offenders. Thanks again! Jim1138 (talk) 05:44, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Creating a new article

Here is the basics: Wikipedia:Starting an article. I would recommend that you create a user account. It shields your IP address, making you a bit more anonymous. Makes communication with you easier as your IP may change and people can more easily recognize who you are (as opposed to "103.9.114.58"). See Wikipedia:Why create an account?. Also, you can create an article in your user page so it is not immediately descended upon by vultures (like me!). Here is one that I started to work on: User:Jim1138/Ponerini The alternative is to use wp:afc which I've heard is not too fun. Happy editing! Jim1138 (talk) 05:56, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry, but my account was blocked permanently, due some users blamed/framed me as vandalizer. I am so sadful for not creating any article or due of over-apologizing these allegating users. 103.9.114.58 (talk) 05:58, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to 2006 Greece earthquake, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dawnseeker2000 06:05, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Climate of Russia. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Continued introduction of systematic unsourced changes will be viewed as vandalism. I am One of Many (talk) 06:11, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Constructive editing

Please try and take a more constructive approach to editing. Wikipedia is a work of consensus and you will need to cooperate with other editors to make a positive contribution to the project. Please:

Please be gentle

Most of the editors here are just trying to keep Wikipedia up to standard. It's best to be gentle with them. Most want to help, but often get upset after hours spent fixing damage deliberately done by many people.

One very important thing about Wikipedia. People want to check the source of the information. Anything significant should be cited so that it can be looked up if the reader wants to. The mark of a good editor is that the information from their edits can be found in citations. And, that these citations link to a reliable source. Ref reliable sources, citing sources, verifiablity.

I see Flat Out is making a peace offering. Remember, most are willing to help, if you ask. Jim1138 (talk) 06:38, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's OK, friend. But please understand this worthsome user Flat Out, for not irritating me, please tell him to leave me alone. 103.9.114.58 (talk) 06:46, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
