Hello, I know you're a very stricked person when it comes to confirming people early, but please confirm me. I have used Wikipedia for many, many years, but have yet to create an account until today. I hav edited many things before getting an account and believe I should be confirmed and be able to fully edit a page, including adding pictures. I'm very responsible, and believe I should be confirmed, thank you for your consideration. J.P

Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! Armbrust The Homunculus 03:13, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, can you please confirm my request. I need to upload an article. Thanks! STSHOES (talk) 00:55, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Articles are not uploaded, but created, and you don't need confirmed permission to do that. Armbrust The Homunculus 03:12, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I'm currently working on an Article For Creation titled "Jonah Berger." I would like to upload an image into the infobox. However, I have not completed the necessary amount of edits as I am primarily interested in creating this one page. Could you confirm my account so that I may continue to work on this article? Thanks much, Glenn Glenn Reddy (talk) 08:27, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - If the file you want to upload is available under a free license, it should be uploaded to our free media repository, the Commons. You do not need any special permissions to upload there, and you can use the same username and password you use here. If it is not available under a free license, it should be requested using the Files for Upload process, which does not require any special permissions. BTW you also just need one more edit to become autoconfirmed. Armbrust The Homunculus 09:39, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Dear all, I would like to ask your permission to upload a photograph on the article I have created Virgin and Child of St Andrew's Fulham. If its not possible I will wait for your guidance. Kindest regards, Paulo Paulo Tercio (talk) 19:22, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I am new to this so your help is appreciated. I am writing an article on a Scottish health charity and need to upload their logo and an image of one of their charity shops. I have their permission and support for this. I understand that the logo can be uploaded as fair use and that the charity shop image can be uploaded as creative commons. I don't have permission to do this and would like to be able to do so. Can you help? Thanks in advance, Jason Jasonmacmillan (talk) 11:39, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done You already appear to have requested uploading back in September. Besides, we do not upload images for articles that are still in Draft mode - images, especially possibly non-free ones - can only be used in live articles. As for your draft, please review WP:NOBLECAUSE before progressing ES&L 12:07, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Sir/Madam. I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to ask you that I am going to create an article in wikipedia that contains one image, but I can not upload my picture. I have about 200 edits and really think that I could become a vandal fighter and really help to the Wikipedia community

Hi, I would like to confirm my account faster, because I want to upload images to certain wiki pages I'm making right now (like logos of companies and photos of persons. So waiting 4 days is not so practical, as the time to make the pages for me is right now. Thanks a lot in advance. Chblokzijl (talk) 21:59, 29 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Wikipedia,

I am trying to upload an image onto a page, and it is telling me my account must be confirmed. First resort, I went to the wikipedia commons, as requested. However, I wrote down that I was not sure yet about the copy right information, and it was deleted a day later, which is when I found out the copy right information. Every time I try to access this "deleted page" it takes me into an empty template. I only have a beginner's knowledge of HTML, so, some aspects of Wikipedia still confuse me.

I am using Wikipedia for a specific subject. I volunteer for a non-profit organization, and my edits pertain to its mission. I might be adding pages later and writing articles for them. I really just do what is requested of me, and I probably will not have ten edits anytime soon, unless I edit random pages. I also would not want to disappoint my supervisor by not posting this picture in a timely manner. I would very much appreciate being confirmed.

Thank you for your consideration.

Edit: Thank you for your response. I understand the Conflict of Interent policy. I have no intention of posting biased articles or editing out any negative commentary. I simply plan on improving the quality of certian pages by adding more up-to-date information. Although I have an affiliation, I am not promoting anything. I believe this would constitute as an "apparent conflict of interest", rather than actually violating Wikipedia's guidlines.

My account has yet to be confirmed. I would appreciate it if this was done manually.

  •  Not done You have 14 edits, and will be autoconfirmed later today. Please note our conflict of interest policy that you have agreed to, as it does not permit you to write about a subject you're affiliated with, or its mission. As such, it's impossible to disappoint anyone - they cannot force you to go against Wikipedia's policies. ES&L 08:54, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I have edited many articles here on Wikipedia without having an account, since I did not know why to have one. Now I want to upload a picture from Facebook of Eileen Sheridan (former cyclist) into her Wiki page. Could you help me do this now? Thank you and regards, Kjell-Tore
