"Travellin' Light" is a UK No. 1 single[2] recorded by Cliff Richard and The Shadows. It remained at No. 1 for five weeks, and was the chart topper when the first sections of the M1 motorway were officially opened.[1] It sold 1,600,000 worldwide. Travelin' light was also a Number 1 in Ireland and Norway. It was his last single of the 1950s, decade and his second No.1 in England but during that decade Richard sold more than 5 million singles worldwide.
