Notification of a June AfC BackLog Drive

Hello Mdann52:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Elimination Drive!
The goal of this drive is to eliminate the backlog of unreviewed articles. The drive is running from June 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014.

Awards will be given out for all reviewers participating in the drive in the form of barnstars at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 1400 articles, so start reviewing articles! Visit the drive's page and help out!

The AfC helper script can assist you in tallying your edits automatically. To view a full list of changes, visit the changelog. Please report bugs and feature requests there, too! Thanks. Anti-Vandalism Unit

Hi User:Mdann52,

I'm TerryAlex and I'm a newly registered user on Wikipedia, (although) I have also been editing Wikipedia here and there (as an anonymous user) over the years. I am interested in learning about anti-vandalism and I saw you listed yourself as a trainer so just want to know if you can take me in as a student. Thanks.--TerryAlex (talk) 22:28, 23 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just read at the top of the page that you are busy. No worries. I'll find a different instructor then. Thanks so much.--TerryAlex (talk) 22:56, 23 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please advise why you removed the subject's parents names and their occupations? The subject gave an interview that gave this information so it is in the public domain already. (Lw1982 (talk) 22:43, 23 May 2014 (UTC))[reply]

Will the endless revisions to this page ever cease? She is obviously English and the parents name situation is flimsy at best. plus I see additional reverts of Mdann52's revisionsThewho515 (talk) 03:01, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Lw1982: I would prefer not to give out full details on-wiki, per OTRS policy. Additionally, AFAIK, interviews are not really reliable sources. If you wish for more information, please email me, and I will see what else I can tell you.
@Thewho515: although I am not involved too much in the dispute, I am close to referring it to WP:DRN. --Mdann52talk to me! 06:25, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If the subject was not happy about this information being known, she would not have given this information in an interview. You cannot cherry pick what info is put on this page especially since it is freely available on another website. (Lw1982 (talk) 07:31, 24 May 2014 (UTC))[reply]

@Lw1982:... And you should not go against the policy written at WP:OTRS. If you have issues with my actions, I recommend you follow the procedures there, and not just blindly revert my edits. Unless you have the full story, I highly recommend you do not undo actions based on private evidence. Additionally, as you have got the person who you believed contracted me incorrect, I can conclude you are not aware of the full picture. --Mdann52talk to me! 07:39, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I said the subject was obviously happy for the info to be released into the public domain as she gave an interview to a national newspaper. I did not say the subject contacted you to ask for it to be removed. Although it is interesting that it seems somebody did ask you to remove it. Conflict of interest perhaps?
