The second (unnamed) parameter is optional. It can be omitted or used to specify the admin when marking a request as already done or the number of edits when declining due to inexperience.

I want to have the rollback right so that I can easily revert vandalism. I've been editing Wikipedia, especially Cricket related articles, for a while. People make sequence of incorrect edits which results in vandalism and it's very difficult and time consuming to go through each edit and revert it. I assure you if I'm granted the right, I'll use it only for it's purpose and help make Wikipedia better by handling vandalism. Cricshady (talk) 01:40, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am reverting vandalisms using Twinkle and RTRC. I want to better do my work using Huggle and "rollback" button. To do that I need rollback permission. I requested this perm about one week (my request has been denied); since this time I made about 300 edits. I think I have enough experience, because although I registered my account half month ago, I edit Wikipedia since 6 months and made about (equally) 1100 edits. I know how to recognize vandalism and how to handle it. Thank You. Tymon.r (talk) 18:03, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Done. I'm taking a bit of a leap of faith here based on your experience as an IP. Tymon.r, please don't let me down. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:37, 4 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Use the igloo tool José Monteiro (talk) 21:31, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Sorry, but you've only made ~50 edits so far. That's not experience to be fully familiar with the various policies, and Igloo is a very powerful tool—it would be very easy to cause a lot of problems, however well-meaning, in a short space of time. Perhaps come back in a few months with a few hundred more edits under your belt. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:41, 4 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Would like to revert vandalism using tools like Huggle. --Richard Yin (talk) 04:00, 4 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have been editting wikipedia for a while about 6 months. I am currently working on recent changes patrolling in wikipedia. There are many new users which often do vandalism. To fight vandalism easier I request rollback rights on Wikipedia. I have been using Twinkle to fight vandalism by new users. Now i want to use Huggle for the same purpose. I have got good no. of edits under my belt and I can handle the tool efficiently without any misuse. I have also read the guidelines about the same. I would like to have the rollback right so I can revert vandalism more quickly than I can before. I've been using twinkle and patrolling recent changes a lot recently, and this feature would make it much more efficient for me to fight vandalism, as I've been trying to do. I have read the rollback page and I've gotten myself familiar with the appropriate places and times to use the feature. I believe I can contribute better with the rollback feature. Thank you.  Done. You don't have huge experience dealing with vandalism, but you seem sensible. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 12:00, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to get rollback rights so it might help me to deal with situations which involves vandalism, disruptive editing e.t.c.I've been editing wikipedia for a while and familiar with most of it's policies. Some users make sequence of edits (Mostly IP users),but without rollback rights it's harder to revert them to a good version. Hello. I am hereby requesting rollback permissions so that I may be better equipped to efficiently combat vandalism, primarily by means of Huggle, STiki, and Igloo. I have familiarized myself with Help:Reverting and Wikipedia:Rollback in their entireties, and am confident in my ability to distinguish between situations where using rollback is and isn't appropriate. Although I admittedly don't have a vast amount of experience using tools such as Twinkle to perform reversions, I do believe I have undone a respectable amount of vandalism by hand. Thank you for your consideration. —zziccardi (talk) 03:15, 8 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've been using this capability through TW for a while now as I patrol for vandalism. In fact, since I had TW I thought I automatically had rollback rights. Onel5969 (talk) 21:32, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
