FC Miami City Champions (also referred to as FC Miami or FC Miami City ) is an American soccer team based in Miami , Florida , United States . Founded in 2014, the team plays in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid , in the Southeast Division as an Expansion Team [ 1]
The team plays its home games at FIU Biscayne Bay Campus stadium in Miami, Florida . The team's colors are black and silver.
History
FC Miami City Champions (or FC Miami ) was founded in 2014 by US Champions Soccer Academy group to field a top-level team in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), considered the fourth division of the American soccer pyramid and roughly equal to the National Premier Soccer League , while also supporting youth development and coaching by former professional players.[ 2]
Head coach Wagneau Eloi and Assistant coach Eric Rabesandratana are both former professional players with a broad range of Experience in coaching for youth players and in the Highest level such as the Haitian National Team.
