Red Bones episodes seem to be nominally 1 hour long. The WGBH PBS broadcasts seem to nearly fill the 60min slot, and thus might be the full original UK versions.-71.174.183.177 (talk) 13:10, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Language spoken
How to best describe the language spoken in these episodes? It is "English", yet distinctively local... It is mostly "standard" English spoken in a local accent, which is sometimes quite strong -- but there is a fair amount of additional local ("Scottish English"?) vocabulary -- and perhaps also some Scottish Gaelic? Some of the speech is quite incomprehensible to standard English speakers, other than by guessing from context. Are notes available anywhere explaining these words/sentences? Are most of the actors speaking this (lovely) accent as actual natives, or more putting it on for this show -- how authentic is the spoken accent?-71.174.183.177 (talk) 16:53, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
