Babymetal concert chronology

The Babymetal World Tour 2015 is a concert tour by Babymetal, which began on 9 May 2015 in Mexico City, Mexico and will end on 13 December 2015 with a performance in Yokohama Arena at Yokohama, Japan. The tour was announced on 10 February 2015, with dates for Mexico, Canada, United States, Germany, Austria and Japan. Additional dates was announced on 25 February for France, Switzerland and Italy. On 20 April, it was revealed that Babymetal would play at the Reading and Leeds Festivals as part of the tour. They performed at METROCK festival in Tokyo on 24 May.[1] Following the concert at Rock Im Revier, Germany on 30 May they announced two additional solo dates for Germany. After the concert at Makuhari Messe on 21 June, they announced the Babymetal World Tour 2015 in Japan, with ten new dates for Japan. [2] This concert was also their biggest solo show yet, with 25 000 people in the audience.[3]

During this tour, Babymetal made a surprise guest appaerence at Download Festival, where they performed their song "Gimme Chocolate!!" with prominent power metal band DragonForce during their set on 12 June.[4] They also performed two songs at the 2015 Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards together on 15 June.[5]

Broadcast and Recording

The concert held at Makuhari Messe on 21 June was broadcast live across 24 theaters in Japan with 5000 viewers in total.[3]
