Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (English: Got the Treasure of Love) also known as "PRDP" is an upcoming Indian family drama film,[1][2] written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Salman Khan will be seen in a double role. As 'Prem' he is a Prince while 'Vijay' is a fighter. Khan was last seen in a double role in Judwaa. Salman and Barjatya have previously worked on Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! and Hum Saath Saath Hain.[3][4]
Principal photography began in June 2014 and the film is scheduled for release on 12 November 2015 coinciding with the Diwali weekend in Hindi,Telgu and Tamil Languages.[5] Its first teaser poster was released on 29 September 2015.[6][7]

Soundtrack
The music for the film has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya with lyrics by Irshad Kamil and features 9 songs in the album. The Title Track is a duet between Palak Muchhal and Kumar Sanu. Sonu Nigam as Prem and Mohammed Irfan as Vijay performing for Salman Khan's characters and Kumar Sanu singing for Neil Nitin Mukesh's character Niranjan. The movie also features a romantic song between Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor's character Maithili that has been performed by Palak Muchhal. All the songs will be in the traditional Barjatya style. It also has two Sufi songs by Shafqat Amanat Ali and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. This album lead singers are Kumar Sanu, Palak Muchhal and Sonu Nigam with supporting singers are Mohammed Irfan, Shafqat Amanat Ali and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
The music rights of the film were sold to T-Series for a record amount of ₹17 crore (US$2.0 million) satellite rights were sold to star network for whooping ₹50 crore (US$6.0 million), making it the most expensive music rights deal in the Bollywood film industry at the time.[8] As per reports, the full music album of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will be released by 10 October 2015.[9][10]
Trailer
The theatrical trailer of the film was released on 1 October 2015 on Facebook and YouTube the trailer received a record 3 million views within 24 hours, collectively.[11]
