Pixies cover of theme song!?

I just discovered the Pixies covered the NARC theme song, on their Planet of Sound single back in 1991! Pretty cool. If anyone feels it justified to create a Cultural Impact or Influence section, please include this. Thanks Wikipedia!

Divide article?

Pardon me, but would it be a good idea to split this article into two (one for the original arcade game, and another for the 2005 game)? After all, these games might have the same name, and both involve drugs... but that's about all they have in common. Sonicrazy 03:24, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Then they would both be basically stubs...maybe we can expand them both then split?Pogo 15:19, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Idea(s) to expand

  • Why don't we have an infobox for the 2005 update?
  • Why doesn't the article tell of being able to play the 1988 version in the 2005 version? (By collecting all 25 drug stashes in the america setting)
  • Removing this passage: "Of course, the perfect rating of 100 can still be achieved even when drugs are used, thus making the challenge a self-imposed, self-enforced limitation." unless evidence is given that you can actually take drugs without losing reputation points. Custom Soundtracks

They aren't featured in the Xbox version of the game.[1]--161.184.67.160 07:24, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To the best of my knowledge the soundtracks on the game are not used in any other. Please stop using personal attacks, it makes you look childish. Maybe I am not understanding what you are getting at. Please define custom soundtracks so I can understand. From my understanding, it is a soundtrack that contains music that is not elsewhere. I am going to keep the custom soundtracks edit until this matter is resolved. Pogo 19:58, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Learn to play Xbox. Anyway, Custom Soundtracks is when you copy your music CD onto the Xbox harddrive. Then the game that has "Custom Soundtracks" marked off, you can play your soundtrack instead of the games soundtrack.--161.184.67.160 07:16, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Narc.png

Image:Narc.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:22, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I took out the line "However, as in real life, drug use leads to consequences such as addiction, blackouts, and loss of health and reputation points." as it has nothing to do with the game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.77.61.10 (talk) 04:12, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
