Redirects to section issue

I added some additional information at WP:AN re: the redirect issues. diff. If you are still experiencing problems you may want to report this at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical) and/or directly at Phabricator. They'll need details about browser version and any extensions you might be running that could affect javascript. As a workaround, you can get to the proper section by first clicking the "redirected from" message at the top of the page and then clicking on the redirect text explicitly. This means two more clicks and loads but can be faster than scrolling through a long page looking for the right section. Best regards. 24.151.10.165 (talk) 17:00, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Hengistmate is not protected - you may create a report there yourself. Cheers —DoRD (talk) 12:57, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@DoRD:: You may be correct, but the creation of the report is an automated process. For IP editors, the process creates the report on the talk page with an edit request. What you see is what the automated process produces. I would be gratefiul if you would move it to project space on my behalf. 86.153.133.193 (talk) 13:02, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Belay that request, it seems you are right. So why does the automated process create the report on the talk page? 86.153.133.193 (talk) 13:06, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The process for unregistered editors is for creating a new case, not for adding a new report to an existing case. Sorry for the confusion - the instructions need some editing to make the distinction clear, so I'll try to do that when I get a chance. —DoRD (talk) 13:15, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@DoRD:Thank you for that. The instructions are not clear because there is a specific box for IP editors inviting them the click 'show' to create a new case. There is no indication as part of the process that a case page already exists that can be edited. A fix would be useful. 86.153.133.193 (talk) 13:18, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

I have blocked you for 72 hours for your disruptive filing of the report at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Hengistmate. See WP:GAB for your appeal rights.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:58, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

Thanks for standing up against the obvious trolls Andy Dingley (talk) 02:49, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Andy Dingley:. Thank you for that. What is particularly frustrating is that if you look at the timeline, Bbb23 blocked me for submitting the SPI report, before he ran the check user. It is thus crystal clear that he had no intention of giving the report any credence before he had even looked at it - bearing in mind that he did not even address the two obvious IP socks. The fact that he only gave Burninthruthesky a warning when his report was disruptive (as it was WP: SNOW deleted) clearly shows that Bbb23 regards IP address editors as inferior. I note that Burninthruthesky accused me of raising my complaint against him in retaliation of his complaint against you. From its timing, it would seem that Burninthruthesky submitted his report while I was still gathering evidence for mine so I could not have been aware of it.

Where on Wiikipedia does one make complaints against administrators? 86.153.133.193 (talk) 08:36, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
