Until the End of Time is the third posthumousstudio album from the late rapper Tupac Shakur, following his previous posthumous albums R U Still Down (Remember Me) and Still I Rise. The album consists of material recorded while the rapper was on Death Row Records toward the later end of 1996. A majority of the music compositions were remixed from their original state. Until the End of Time was very highly anticipated and ended up being one of the best selling hip hop album in 2001.[1]

Commercial success

Until the End of Time debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. On June 10, 2014 it was certified 4x platinum by RIAA[2] with 2 million copies sold. On 22 June 2001 it was certified Silver (60,000) by BPI.[3] On May 24, 2001 it was certified 2x platinum (200,000 units) in Canada.[4]

Accolades

BET put it number 3 on their list of 'The 25 Best Posthumous Albums of All Time'.[5]
