Request on 13:33:27, 2 June 2016 for assistance on AfC submission by Romeoabikhalil

because i couldnt publish my page and i need to know how to publish it, i think i need help because it is so complex

Romeoabikhalil (talk) 13:33, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't complex. There are three simple issues. First, Wikipedia is not receptive to autobiographies. Second, it doesn't appear that you are notable in the Wikipedia sense of the word. Third, Wikipedia is not social media. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:26, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

15:49:10, 2 June 2016 review of submission by Heatherer

Hello! The draft above was prepared as a full replacement for an existing article that has multiple flags. Since I am proposing an entirely new draft for the GoToMyPC entry, I thought this might be a good place to find editors interested in reviewing new articles in their entirety (even if they don't have to be "created"). You can see my original Talk page note here. I have been paid by Beutler Ink on behalf of Citrix Systems to rewrite the article and this COI is why I will not edit the entry myself. Thanks! Heatherer (talk) 15:49, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't likely, if the existing article reads like an advertisement, that a version by a paid editor will be more neutral. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:29, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 13:01:33, 3 June 2016 for assistance on AfC submission by Rachelpewsey

The content keeps coming back saying it sounds like an advertisement. I have tried editing the content so it's from a neutral perspective and added in links from external sources, along with facts to make it informative. However, the changes are still not approved. Can you please help, or explain where the content is not appropriate please?

Many thanks in advance. Rachelpewsey (talk) 13:01, 3 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

03:12:34, 4 June 2016 review of submission by Lquessenberry

Hello. My recent submission was not accepted on the topic of Jeffrey Morris and I am very new to the process. I am seeking advice on what makes a person notable and what reference I need as well as changes to make to have my article published.

Lquessenberry (talk) 03:12, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft doesn't have in-line citations, also known as footnotes, only general end references. As a biography of a living person, in-line citations are required. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:30, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

15:12:09, 5 June 2016 review of submission by Tracy Symonds-Keogh

Hi I've been trying to complete this since Friday and as I am new to the workings of Wikipedia I would very much appreciate someone assisting me with the following comments and how I go about correcting my article so I can get it published - all help so welcome

The content of this submission includes material that does not meet Wikipedia's minimum standard for inline citations. Please cite your sources using footnotes. For instructions on how to do this, please see Referencing for beginners. Thank you.

The comment the reviewer left was:

This draft has many references at the end, but needs in-line citations. Provide a proper lede sentence as to the subject and scope of this page. Use proper WP:Markup for headings. As to the long listing of citations at the end, see WP:CITEKILL and WP:BOMBARD. Provide a moderate number of good references rather than many poor references. Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved. If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Brendan Dassey and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window. If you need any assistance, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk or on the reviewer's talk page. You can also use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.

16:42:44, 7 June 2016 review of submission by Rdellbillings

Thanks in advance for your help, Dodger67; I need all I can get. Your message to me last week stated that my draft submission could not be accepted at this time because it is "not adequately supported by reliable sources." I had several URL links to sources embedded in the copy I uploaded but none of them show up on the Draft in Wikipedia. I also had two footnoted references and several "See also" links that did not show up on the draft. I believe these were lost in transmission because I failed to use any of the three methods of adding references to the article -- do you agree? If I edit my draft, which now is on Wikipedia's Articles for Creation page, using one of the Wikipedia methods of listing references, would this be the right course of action? I believe my sources are reliable...I just don't think they made it into the draft that I submitted.

Many thanks. Bob

Hi there, I'm trying to continue to create the article Zintkala Nuni-Lost Bird, in which I would like to cite more history and link the pages to this article. But I can't seem to make any changes to the article. Can you please tell me what I'm missing? Thank you...

14:14:49, 8 June 2016 review of submission by Receiptbank1978

Receiptbank1978 (talk) 14:14, 8 June 2016 (UTC)Hello, thanks for helping me out. My article was declined because of the reason below: Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed.[reply]

But I think I've included all independent references from the likes of Reuters etc.

Could you advise please? Thank you!Receiptbank1978 (talk) 14:14, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
