Dislike ratio

I suggest adding the percentage of dislikes among all likes or dislikes. "Gangnam Style" is actually a very popular video with only 12% dislikes. "Strong" is lower on our list but has 96% dislikes. PrimeHunter (talk) 11:45, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I second this, it would help show what videos got disliked mainly due to the sheer amount of people seeing them (i.e. Gangnam Style" and what videos are disliked due to being controversial, however not as many views Anipad68 (talk) 13:27, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I was going to bring this idea days ago but second that idea as this list can bring a false assumption that these videos are more than disliked than most which isn't 10% true. Donnie Park (talk) 14:52, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Count me, too. Dislike or like count does not mean anything by itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.159.127.17 (talk) 15:49, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I support this idea of a NET-likeability, because just looking at the dislikes is quite a dumb way to measure stuff, it's totally onesided and it distorts enormously, for reasons that were mentioned above. We see this in politics too, Candidate A is supposedly almost as popular as Candidate B, if we ONLY look at their favorables (e.g. 39% v 41%) and if we ignore their UNfavorables (e.g. 61% v 50%). A ratio with Views is better because a video with 200 views and 50 dislikes is far less liked than a video with 2 million views and 5,000 dislikes CrashTestSmartie (talk) 17:27, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I am working on this, following your suggestion: Spreadsheet. Can someone help me fill it out with the views/dislikes? I'll take care of the rest. --Jeran Renz (talk) 00:35, 21 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dislike to Interaction Ratio

Following on from the idea of a Dislike percentage of all ratings on the video, I believe you could also add a column for Percentage of dislikes to the total interactions (views) of the video. Some of these may become low numbers, so instead, I believe you could mark it in the following format:
Information -> (Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare) [1,575,195 Dislikes] [16,111,388 Views]
- 1 Dislike for every 10.23 Views (To two decimal places) Crazylawrence (talk) 18:05, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I support this, this is better than a NET-likeability CrashTestSmartie (talk) 17:30, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@CrashTestSmartie I think a NET-likeability is just as important, if not MORE important, than a dislike to interaction ratio. In an earlier discussion you said "A ratio with Views is better because a video with 200 views and 50 dislikes is far less liked than a video with 2 million views and 5,000 dislikes". That is misleading because you haven't taken the likes into account. What if the video with 200 views and 50 dislikes had 100 likes? (33% dislikes) And what if the video with 2 million views and 5,000 dislikes had 1,000 likes? (83% dislikes) Just because a video's dislikes-per-views ratio is high, it doesn't mean it is more disliked than another video with a lower ratio. Comparing likes to dislikes is a better way to determine whether or not one video is more disliked than another. --MattStan10 (talk) 20:13, 23 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect colouring in list

Some of the videos in the list are highlighted as 'not music videos' when they are, in fact, music videos. The ones I noticed are: Psy - gentleman; Sorry - justin bieber; What do you mean - justin bieber

Friday stats

Is that a choice not to add the first upload stats to it? It had 167 millions views, 3.2 million dislikes and 0.454 million likes. But was taken down for 3 months before being re-uploaded. Total stands at 264 million views, 5.4 million dislikes and 1.0 million likes (84% dislikes). --Loup Solitaire 81 (talk) 02:51, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The original upload and the re-upload are two separate videos, therefore the stats cannot be merged together. --MattStan10 (talk) 22:16, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

List is outdated

The list is almost one month old. It really needs some updating for September 2016. I think you should all watch this page.
