5x expanded by Yellow Dingo (talk). Self-nominated at 11:00, 25 October 2016 (UTC).
Article is new enough (expansion started 25 October, nominated on same day), expanded enough (53 characters excluding table to 3871 characters), and article is within policy. I believe that sentences such as "The first Lusophony Games was" are grammatically correct in American English (in British English it would be "The first Lusophony Games were"), if not then please notify me.
I strongly prefer ALT1, as it's shorter, and the Lusophony Games are explained in this article anyway. Hook is short enough, interesting, and supported by [1].
QPQ done.
Overall, this nomination passes, congratulations. Joseph2302 20:46, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
- Comment: 11 November is Angolan Independence Day- might be an idea to run this nomination on that day? Yellow Dingo what do you think? Joseph2302 20:46, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Joseph2302: Thanks for the review. And yes, I've moved it to the special holding are for the Independence day. — Yellow Dingo (talk) 00:29, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
Reopened, hook is unverifiable in reliable sources, as explained at WT:DYK#Prep 2 (Angola). Fram (talk) 10:20, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
