Rollback

To be able to easily revert multiple, same-user vandalism/spam edits. KMJKWhite (talk) 18:11, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Could have used this a few minutes ago.--KMJKWhite (talk) 22:29, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have a lot of articles on my watchlist, I think this would be a good tool for combating vandalism on these pages. Pennsy22 (talk) 10:20, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have multiple articles on my watch list, so if I see anything suspicious, I will investigate it thoroughly, and if its vandalism, and only vandalism, then I will rollback the edit. JustAGuyOnWikipedia (talk) 17:11, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

To the admins reviewing this user, the word "messages" is spelled "massages" on his user page, in " Please do not post massages here!!!". Also, this user has 220 total edits, 70 with an edit summary, only 5 to articles, 124 of his edits (56 percent) are to his user page, 11 edits are on his own talk page, and the rest are scattered throughout requests for adminship, other talk pages, and WikiProject member sheets (added himself to 5 WikiProjects). I personally do not believe this user is old enough to have Rollback permissions. The account is also 19 days old. There is also no evidence of anti-vandalism work on this account, even though the account is a member of the CVU. I'd recommend he go through the academy or adopt-a-user program prior to requesting Rollback permissions. Adotchar| reply here 22:28, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. With only 5 edits to the mainspace, I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU, and if you decide you'd like to get involved, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. — xaosflux Talk 22:39, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to have rollbacker rights to be able to fight vandalism more effectively, currently I use Twinkle to fight vandalism and is not as fast and easy as other tools such as Huggle. I am aware that I do not have 200 mainspace edits, but I hope that you take my request seriously. Jiklo1569 (talk) 23:52, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to add that one of those denied request was me withdrawing my request. I did this because I realized I did not mean to apply. Jiklo1569 (talk) 13:13, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have been a minor NPR before the rights came into effect. Now I can only see rollbacking as my way of fighting vandalism since it is now my main goal as I have turned away from article creation due to lack of free time. Thank you. Coincidentally this request was my 1,000th edit. Your welcome | Democratics Talk 10:51, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is my alternative account, and since my main account has the "rollback" permission, I would like the alternative account to have it as well. GeoffreyT2000 (talk, contribs) 15:08, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I fight vandalism regularly using twinkle. You can see my contributions. It will be more helpful to have Rollback rights to quickly revert vandalism. Rollback is more quick and useful than the javascript based twinkle for vandalism fighting. Fly Up (Talk) 10:08, 01 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
