My talk page policy...

  1. Please Feel free to add comments and please click this edit link to do so. I value all feedback.
  2. Discussions are archived every time this gets too big. If you said something that got archived, just refer to which archive it's in (most recent in the last number going backwards).
  3. I will usually reply on your talk page (if such action is required) and will leave a note here in summary of points made. If a discussion is getting long (more than one or two questions or statements) then I may just post replies here.
  4. Your comment's wording will not be edited but layout may do. I may however change the headings to increase the ease of navigation.
  5. Vandalism will always be reverted however a note will be placed at the bottom and a link (to show the changes made) put.
  6. Any profanity, vulgarity or other harmful text will be editted out immediately using the <vulgarity /> tag or, in extreme cases, it deleted and a link put to the version with the harmful text included.
  7. Please note that my timezone is GMT, and that I still am in school, (summer!) so please excuse my brushing off/shouting/screaming/grumpiness/anger/annoyance at anti-social hours.

Please sign and date comments using 4 tildes (~~~~). If you do not, I will for you, using the edit history, and will leave a message on your talk page saying "Always sign and date talk page entries". Thank you for listening.

Do you think it's acceptable to have non formatted at all refs in a GA? And {{Pokefair}} refers to pictures, you can use it for nearly everything. Highway Daytrippers 06:35, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly "It does not limit the copyright owners rights to sell the game. " makes it completely inappropriate for use within non game related photos.--I'll bring the food 22:07, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally are you just trying to get me to use it because you were heavily involved in its creation? That is highly inappropriate.--I'll bring the food 22:10, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have noticed even with citations added with accessed on blah blah type stuff they are all too long and wordy in format. Could you suggest a smaller formatting that would include the website's/book's name, date published and accessed? Got any good article examples? Take a look at the first 3 footnotes. They're bloody 2 lines long each. That's far too long, would you suggest an improvement? You're clearly more versed on this and I need advice.--I'll bring the food 21:54, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Highway

Hey Highway I think your now SYSOP Material. So I'm thinking next week of nominating you for adminship. If I nominate you would you accept? Æon Insanity Now!EA! 03:27, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would advise you to wait for three months. Your second RfA was less than two months ago. Patience is a virtue. David D. (Talk) 03:45, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question

What pray tell do you mean by this?. I can't yet see a way for that not to be a personal attack. I have a strong basis in policy for my position, and you have been unable to substantiate yours. - Taxman Talk 17:24, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Elections

No problem, the bot is now set up to run at 55 minutes past every hour. Cheers, Tangotango 17:56, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, my bad. The bot was still set for 4 seats. Thanks for pointing that out! - Tangotango 18:26, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Lefty's RfA thanks

Hi, HighwayCello, and thanks for supporting me in my recent request for adminship, which succeeded with a final tally of 70/4/4. I hope I can live up to your expectations, and if there's ever anything you need, you know where to find me! --Mr. Lefty Talk to me! 00:21, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New Evolved Forms?!?

Already there are articles for the evolved forms of the Shinou starters. Are any of these legit? Nintenboy01 01:18, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm up to summat...

Could you have a look at Arctic Monkeys. I've decided to take it to FAC, and was wondering if you, being the one to promote it to GA, had any advice/ideas/complaints I could have a look at? Many thanks, smurrayinchester(User), (Talk) 22:36, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whew! Thanks for reminding me! smurrayinchester(User), (Talk) 22:03, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Good luck with that; I've had nightmares about those Gaming Corner machines... 7... 7... Cherry! Nooooo! smurrayinchester(User), (Talk) 22:09, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
While you're online, could you tell me what you think of my new sig? It's based on an Arcade Fire song, Neighbourhood #2 (Laïka), and is shorter than my old one. Laïka 22:38, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It uses the same code a my normal sig in that it changes colour every day; note the red at the top of this section, with yellow lower down. Laïka 22:45, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Elections

Yep... it will be the first runoff that I've known of. I'm posting stuff up about it now. -- Natalya 00:05, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I was thinking about coinflipping, it's very impartial. ;) -- Natalya 00:07, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I just noticed! Thanks for pointing that out (even though it was the vote that cost you a seat). You were very close, though, which is very cool. -- Natalya 00:14, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The EA elections

Hey, sorry man. It was a very close run thing (nail biting, I'd say), and I hope you do choose to run again in March. I'd also like to thank you for voting for me (yours was my first vote =), though I'll be giving out proper thank you notes once the friendly election stuff have confirmed everything ;)

Thε Halo Θ 10:28, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

*Shurgs* That's exactly what I wanted to avoid. I'd hate it if my vote was the one that decided something like that. I guess you could ask Hoopy, if you were really curious...
Thε Halo Θ 10:42, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry. Good luck next time. Michael 13:54, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pokemon Images

Hey I like that images help identify episodes visually and identify key moments. So may you help me, so we can keep the images. (Yugigx60 20:22, 1 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]

The images were decided not to be used; right now this user editted the template so it is a copy of {{Digimon episode}} then asked an admin to protect it on that version so images that fail fair use criteria #3 can be shown in the template. Ryūlóng 20:27, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blanking

Do not blank talk pages as it is considered vandalism. If you continue to do this you will be reported. Inforazer 14:00, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's not the point. You don't blank talk pages. Inforazer 19:53, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Cite that rule, I'd like to see where you are allowed to blank talk pages. Seriously, you are acting stubborn because you want to get your own way. The only person who had a problem with it was you. Inforazer 13:39, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for Voting

Hey Highway. I knew there was no way that I could better your wonderful EA elections thanks template thing, so I thought I'd write a simple message.

Thank you so very much for your kind vote. I hope that I can live up to the high standards set by others, and help continue Esperanza down it's wonderful path. All the best, Thε Halo Θ 11:42, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
