Rollback

User:AR.Dmg

as I've encountered tons of vandalism during my contribution on Wikipedia and I feel I have gained enough experience to gain the Rollback permission. It will help me to efficiently patrol recent changes. At this moment, I'd have to click undo then go to the diff page and click submit to revert vandalism. Using this right, I'd be able to revert vandalism much quicker. My edit history should show my dedication towards wikipedia policy against vandalism. If you feel I need more practice though, I'll be happy to gain more experience. Thank you for taking the time to review my case, and have a nice day! AR.Dmg (talk) 17:03, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Not seeing any history of antivandalism work, so I don't see how this would be useful. I'll also note the decline reason at your request for PC reviewer. ~ Amory (utc) 13:41, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Though I've only very recently become an active editor, I have been actively reverting vandalism with Twinkle, but have started to encounter its limitations and slowness in comparison to other tools. Of particular interest to me is Huggle, which seems a far more efficient and convenient anti-vandalism tool, hence my application. I believe I have gained enough experience to gain rollback permissions, as my edit history will hopefully show, but I do appreciate I am still learning. If you feel I need more practise, I am more than happy to keep working and improving my understanding. Thank you!  vwilding talk 23:23, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not done A quick pass through of your reverts looks great, and wow have you been active! You've really only been at this for less than a week, though, which is just too new for me to be comfortable granting this right now. Why don't you ping me or come back here with, say, three more weeks under your belt? I think that should be fine. ~ Amory (utc) 13:49, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Amorymeltzer: Thanks for the review, I'll keep it up and see where I'm at in three weeks :)  vwilding talk 16:08, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Recently, I have downloaded Huggle. Whilst I knew I couldn't use it, it did allow me to look around in read-only mode. I feel like it would greatly benefit my ability to "fight" vandalism. Twinkle is certainly handy, but Huggle is much better and unfortunately (but understandably) restricted to users with the rollback permission. I would also like to note that I have previously been an administrator on the Dutch WikiKids, but resigned a while ago. Whilst being a sysop there, I did use the rollback buttons, so I know the tricky places where you are likely to use them per accident. Also, I would like to note that I have previously edited Wikipedia with the account FritsNL, but because I forgot to set a recovery email, I lost access to it.  Not done Scanning over your recent reversions, they look pretty good to me; you've super active lately, which is great. Still, you've really only been doing this type of antivandal work for around three or four days, which is just a little too green for me to feel comfortable granting at this time. Why don't you ping me or come back here with, say, three more weeks under your belt? I think that should be fine. ~ Amory (utc) 13:53, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Amorymeltzer: Will do, thanks for reviewing! --MrClog (talk) 13:55, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I fight vandalism often and now I need this right for rollbacking faster or using Huggle tool. Accesscrawl (talk) 13:59, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Done Added for a two month trial period, let's see how that goes, then come back here for review/permanent granting. Remember that rollback should only be used for clearcut cases of blatant vandalism, and to take care when warning editors. ~ Amory (utc) 16:43, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

User:SharabSalam

I have been here for 9 months fighting vandalism using Twinkly and STiki and I need to try some other tools that requires rollback permission. Thanks.--SharabSalam (talk) 23:23, 24 March 2019 (UTC) SharabSalam (talk) 23:23, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Your reverts seem fine — although you're not really warning users — but your recent block for edit warring is just too recent (three weeks ago) for me. Take some time and continue to do good work, then come back here. ~ Amory (utc) 15:47, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to have rollback rights as it would make the process of reverting vandalism much quicker and less tedious. VanZa39 (talk) 19:36, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. With only 72 edits to the mainspace, I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU, and if you decide you'd like to get involved, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. I am fighting vandalism and sock puppetry effectively to the extent that socks have used puppets to raise retaliatory SPIs against me [2]. Rollback was temporarily granted to me [3] and was told to request again.- Kishfan (talk) 20:45, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
