Timmy Time in Germany
Hallo, Timmy Time can you watch every morning on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_RTL and it is called "Timmy das Schäfchen" (Timmy the little sheep). Here is a link to the broadcast: http://www.superrtl.de/TVProgramm/tabid/53/Default.aspx?tvdate=2010-03-22T06:30:01
On the german wiki we don't have a special entry for this :( —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.231.168.164 (talk) 22:11, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- Sure? Since ½ a year we have, introduced by myself ^_^ I Need some info about the duck. Is it a girl or a boy? I believe it's a girl --Saviour1981 (talk) 10:59, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
Girls or boys?
According to this entry, people know if the animals are boys or girls. From which sources? Otus looks more like a girl to me than a boy (that's one of the reason I change its description), and I don't see why the Hedgehog will be more a girl than a boy. Is there any official source to determinate this small details? Thanks for your answers. Sultan Rahi (talk) 03:16, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- I was looking all over the internet and it seems like there are none. Only the Aardman Animations or CBeebies can answering to this. It's worth a shot :) --Saviour1981 (talk) 11:06, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
- The genders were probably found from episode descriptions on the BBC. For example, series 2 episode 11 has the synopsis "Yabba is hurt when Timmy rejects her offer of friendship in favour of his imaginary friend", confirming Yabba (the duck) as a girl. However, I can only find these documented on BBC iplayer (where obviously the pages expire every week or so, rotating in different descriptions), so they're no use as sources. --82.41.52.202 (talk) 17:44, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, opening the full episode description almost always gives away the gender of the main 'other' character in that episode. For example, the episode Timmy Slips Up confirms Kid the goat as a boy (Everyone is excited when the frosty playground means that Timmy and his friends can have fun sliding around. But Kid just can't manage to keep his balance, and is about to give up when Timmy find an ingenious way to help.) Timmy's Plane confirms Finlay the fox as a boy (The class are making items out of folded paper, and Timmy is amazed by Finlay's fantastic paper plane. He tries to copy him, but Timmy's effort just won't fly like Finlay's. Timmy is losing heart, until Finlay's plane gets stuck in a tree, and Timmy gets a great idea.) Timmy Bounces Back confirms Stripey the badger as a boy (Timmy and his friends are playing ball games - catch, crazy golf, tennis and so on. Stripey just can't get the hang of hand-to-eye co-ordination and is upset when Yabba gets impatient with him. But when Timmy finds some elastic, he realizes how he can help out.). They're the only ones on iplayer at the moment. --82.41.52.202 (talk) 17:55, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
- Hm, why does everyone think the only place for these descriptions is the iPlayer... for the last few years the BBC's kept a pretty comprehensive programme archive. This is the page for the first episode of Timmy Time series 1. If you click next you can cycle through the episodes. Here's the first one for series 2. Akata (talk) 06:33, 25 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info Akata. Now here's a list of what I've found:

- Kid (goat) is male, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00wwgz1

- Wow, did a great job, dude :) I think this is the final answer to those Timmy Time mysteries ;) --Saviour1981 (talk) 19:15, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- It seems that Otus is a boy after all: Timmy and Ruffy are so tickled when they discover the fun you can have with squeaks that they accidentally spoil Otus's big moment in a musical lesson. They feel very bad and make it up to Otus by devising a totally new squeaky musical performance for him to provide the finale to. according to Squeaky Timmy synopsis. So:
- Otus (owl) is male, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b010pwnp Sultan Rahi (talk) 22:08, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
